Don’t need it but I wanted to add something to a new car. Seems okay.

These are frowned upon in my area. But I still roll with one of them on my cars. Because one I don’t like traffic cameras that falsely claim I was speeding and two I hate my license plate being displayed on somebody’s phone when they take a picture at the local cruiser spot. Besides the fines are only like $50 for a fix-it ticket. It’s worth the headache of being falsely being accused of a speeding ticket on a machine that apparently needs adjustment and a human being in control. Just because I drive a Mustang doesn’t mean I break the law versus say a Toyota Camry. LOL

Bought these for my honda accord and for my sons honda cr-v. I love that they come in a two pack. If you live in a state where you are required to have both a front and rear license plate then this pack will cover you. I live in a state where we are only required to have a rear license plate, so I used this two pack for two of our vehicles. They are exceptionally made and the price was unbelievable!! Much cheaper than crappy license plate frames the local Wal-Mart sells. I like that it gives me a little more peace of mind knowing that someone cannot just walk up and peal my registration sticker off my license plate. Plus keeps it clean and makes my car look super cool. Definitely recommend!

First things first.. I purchased the smoked bubble cover in 2014 for my first vehicle from this exact seller. I'm on my 3rd vehicle and still using it. I had to go back to all my previous orders to find the exact one so I could order a new one.. it's still working and holding up pretty great but it's beginning to get a little cloudy even after washing and scrubbing it so I decided maybe its time to get a new one and I wanted this same one. Definitely got my money's worth out of it LOL. Very pleased!

i've only had this pair on my vehicle for 5 months and they've held up well thus far. but having used these covers before on many different vehicles over time, i know they'll need to be replaced solely for cosmetic reasons after a year of use. at a sub-$5 price, who cares.like another reviewer noted, these don't fit exactly over the license plate, but to be fair, it could also be the way the plate was cut when it was made.these have proven to be durable and tone down the look of my plates. they do have a slight curve/bubble to them which i prefer over flat covers.

It's pretty dark. Got pulled over in mass for "swerving" no ticket. Officer did mention plate cover though, wasn't a big fan.He said the rule is the officer has to be able to read the plate from 60ft away, so it's pretty subjective. You could get a warning or dragged into court. It's unwanted contact as far as I'm concerned.However I left it on because it looks cool.The mechanic I went to made me remove them when I went for state inspection. Said registry book doesn't allow it.I told him about the 60 foot rule, didn't care much. Took them off, got inspected , put them on again.Bottom line, looks cool, but prepare to deal with some grief, depending on state .

Bought this because I am in the process of blacking out most of my '16 WRX. This was a really cheap option so I wasn't sure how good it would be / look but they are great! They look exactly how I wanted them to on the car.They are also not so dark that you can't see the plate during the day, so you don't need to worry about cops claiming to not be able to read your plate during the daytime. At night they definitely look darker.Would recommend getting the cruiser accessories screw covers which can be found on Amazon also, completes the look for sure.Great product!

I got this, in the hopes that it will make it harder for red-light cameras to take a pic. Pesky red-light cameras. Grr. 6, yes 6, this year so far. So lame.Anyway, I'll update if I get any more with this.Also, not sure if my local laws prohibits the use of this...but meh, I haven't gotten stopped over it. I rather take my chances getting pulled over for it than get any more red-light camera tickets. Grr.

Fits my Ontario plates fine, although it lays on top of the edges instead of going around the plates, so it could be a bit bigger. Due to that, dirt and dust is still able to get onto my plates, so this doesn't do much for protection but moreso for looks. During the daylight, they look amazing. At night, I had 6000k white LED license plate lights, and it was a bit difficult to see. Going back to regular halogen license plate lights, that's not an issue any more but I wish it were not so dark so I could use my LEDs. As for durability, they are very flexible and have yet to crack or chip unlike other cheap plastic covers I've used.

Flew past a camera and didn’t get the ticket. That Right there makes my money back. Only problem is the cops found me and gave me a $110 ticket for the cover
