Great design with fantastic expandability
Positives:Great design with fantastic expandability. Quality construction and light weight, we use this for quick errands or on longer rides where you might need a full set of arm warmers, leg warmers, gloves and jackets and everything fits in this bag much more conveniently than cycling jersey pockets or backpacks.Negatives:My legs barely clear the seat post so the velcro strap that attaches to the seat post rubs slightly with each pedal stroke, and off course, eventually destroys cycling shorts. If you have plenty of clearance at the seat post, you won't have a problem. If you have very little or even slightly rub today, you will certainly rub on the strap (it's more noticeable that simply rubbing on the carbon or metal seat post since the velcro is a bit grabby). One potential design improvement would be to keep the bag narrow directly under the seat and then taper to the larger volume, but it's a minor issue.

Perfect for variable storage amounts
The bag is plenty roomy for storing lots -- or only minimal -- stuff. It's very secure and doesn't sway from side to side as much as you might expect. One con: the bag does cover up the entire seat post, so you can't have a rear light there.

Great Bag!
This bad is awesome. I used it on a 7 day 215 mile hut to hut ride in Colorado and Utah. It worked perfectly and holds a ton, allowing items with weight to rest on your bike frame and not on your back!!

Perfect weekend getaway bag on a Carbon Fiber Road Bike
My wife and I were looking for a bag that could work for weekend getaways. She rides a Specialized Ruby Carbon Fiber Road Bike. We just filled the bag with a pair of shoes, 2 cargo shorts, 2 shirts, her tool seat bag, her toiletries etc.(I'm sure I can still cram more into this bag.) We are now set for our trip through the San Juan Islands in a couple weeks. The bags are built very well....and look like they will last for years and years of adventures. Oh and the super BONUS - it's an Alaskan Company!

but I hate wearing a backpack
This bag is the ANSWER to my fall/winter cycling needs! I ride in cold weather (well, cold by California standards, but it's cold to me!) and I suffer from Raynaud's Syndrome. I have the gear I need to stave off the cold, but I hate wearing a backpack, I'm not fond of stuffing my jersey pockets (feel like my torso is being strangled), and my front pack only holds so much. I start out very cold but warm up down the road, which is a gear nightmare (too much or too little). I'd been pining for one of these but hesitated because of the cost. I finally bit the bullet and got one and I LOVE it!!! IT is worth every penny. Save your money! Borrow from relatives! Beg on the streets! GET ONE! I can use my Bar Mitts (another thing people with Raynaud's should investigate: I used to want to cry---really---for the first hour of a ride, but now my hands are cozy and comfy), my shoe covers, and so on, and I just keep packing that Revelate bag when I warm up. .I have yet to fill it up, and as you may be figuring out for yourself, I'm a cold weather wimp who apparently also has hot flashes. I ordered through Cyclopedia, via Amazon, and it arrived quickly. Of all my cycling purchases over the years---other than my sweet rides---this has been the best.

Best light credit card touring pack.
I used this pack on a 4 day road bike ride from Dayton to Pittsburgh, 72 miles a day. This was my only pack, only carried repair items for the bike, a couple of extra layers and one change of clothes, along with some snacks. It didn't sway, it was almost like it wasn't there. I used it on a carbon fiber seat post and worked great, and I am a clydesdale at 250 lbs.

great bag
excellent choice for the semi touring types and those that like to go out with more than a set of tire irons. Have them on 2 Felt bikes and they are great. Extreme rain requires more protection but a 8 hour through the mountain ride with enough stuff to stay at a motel is well within the bags capability.

Definitely awesome, worth every penny.
Super cool. Use this bag all the time. For short commutes under a few miles I wouldn't recommend it as it takes takes a bit to get it on and attached. Definitely better for longer rides and works best if you pack all your heaviest stuff in the bottom of the bag and throw in something like a jacket or a towel to pack everything down. Truly a great alternative to having a rear rack if all you need are a few things. I have some pretty lightweight camping gear and I was able to pack a tent, rain jacket, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, and a water filter all in this little bag stuffed to the brim. The key is really fastening down everything tightly so it doesn't sway when you climb hills or rise up out of the saddle. Highly recommended and would definitely get again.
