Author uses a sledgehammer to create her bad boy hero
Another reviewer puts this well - the author has talent but she uses a sledgehamner when a bit of finesse and nuance would result in a more compelling story. This story is another example of the sledgehammer approach- she doesn't just give her H a horrific past, she gives him an ugly persona in the present and a bleak future, resulting in a lot of almost unforgivable behaviour from him. Add to this the h's crazed ex and there is just too much going on to make this a heartbreaking romance with a troubled H turned good. Instead it is just a mess of unbelievable and histrionic events. I also have an issue with romances that are centered around the H being drawn to the h for something completely outside her control, rather than it being about her actions and how she treats others and her outlook on the world. Often it is the h's looks; in this case it is her voice. This plot device might be ok if the H then falls for who the h really is when he gets to know her better but in this case the h is nice enough but really there is nothing particularly inspiring about her to explain why such a troubled H would be so taken by her. The author also has a habit of starting the h off strong but she then becomes weak and mushy around the H, allowing him to get away with too much and suspending her previously rational behaviour.Still I read to the end and was mildly entertained so there are some positives to the story if you can suspend belief for long enough.

A+ rating...
My Review:Wow, I'm not even sure where to begin with this book. It was so freaking good and it started out that way, but then it just kept getting better and better and better. By the end of the book, I was sobbing. So good, so emotional. There was so much to this story and these characters...and seriously, so much of it kept me gasping over the emotion.A.J. and Chloe hate one another. But she has no idea why. She just knows that he literally spews hatred at her when he's near her. Every single other person in her world likes her. She doesn't understand it at all. As far as she knows, she didn't do anything to cause it.But there's so much more than the interesting undercurrents between them. A.J. is the drummer for the band Bad Habit, but he has an interesting skill. He literally sees music. He also has a completely mysterious background. It's clear that his wikipedia history for him isn't quite the truth, but what is the truth? No one truly knows. The only thing anyone does know is that A.J. is a big, surly beast with a penchant for tattoos and high-price prostitutes...not exactly romantic interest material, especially when Chloe has a perfectly good boyfriend who's totally into her and has a respectable job as a cop. But that doesn't stop her from fantasizing about A.J. at the most inopportune moments. There are so many highlights to this book, but I'm going to mention my favorites:*AJ's home...wow, I was enthralled by the images the author painted of where he lives. It's so magical and mystical, especially in how it relates to A.J. and how he sees himself.*in the background of this story is the wedding planning for Nico and Kat. I loved that we got to see so much of that. I loved their story in the first book, so it was awesome that they played such a huge role in this book.*It's obvious from the very beginning that A.J. is seriously torn. The author wrote his angst so beautifully and perfectly. My heart hurt throughout so much of this story (and I love it when I get that emotionally involved.)The book is told almost entirely from Chloe's point of view, but there are tiny little chapters thrown in from A.J.'s point of view. I loved how the author did that because I do love those little glimpses into his thoughts. They were like sweet little chocolate nuggets thrown into the story. It was so, so, so good. I highly recommend this one.I received a complimentary copy of this book in return for an honest review, but as soon as I finished the book I got online and preordered a copy of the book in print for my keeper shelf.

AJ and Chloe deserve a happily ever after!!
The 2 book in the Bad Habit series. I loved this book. AJ the Drummer from the band has had a problem with Chloe (one of Kat's BFFs) since book 1 Sweet as Sin (Kat and Nico's story)...Not just a problem he can't stand being anywhere near her. Chloe is fine with not be near him so much so she is currently dating a cop Eric (who is a little Cra-cra ok psycho). When she can't take the psycho cop any longer she breaks up with him...AJ and Chloe are put together more than they want since she is planning the flowers for Kat and Nico's wedding. Well you know the attraction is strong and let me tell you, you feel it!! They both fight it and sometimes its comical! But when Chloe is in trouble cause hello psyco cop reappears AJ comes to the rescue!! Heavy Sigh!!! They fall for each other of course but AJ is hiding something! When Chloe breaks up with him more heartache!! The wedding comes along and they are put together and BAM another twist!JT is full of them. Well written leaves you hanging from chapter to chapter! Love her stories and can't wait for the final book in this series. This is a stand alone but I recommend reading in order! There is a slight cliffhanger that will be revealed (as promised) in book 3!!

Best book I've read for a long time!
Don't know where to start with this book review, I'm speechless how good it is, and how in love with these characters I am (damn them for being fictional lol)I read Sweet As Sin book 1 and was gripped by the emotional roller coaster the author had us riding, I wasn't overly keen on Nico, slightly too agressive for my liking, but I was intrigued by the secondary characters and especially the group of 3 girlfriends (lots of laugh out loud moments) so I purchased Make Me Sin book 2.....and thank god I did! Truly one of the best books I've read in a while, the story is deep and upsetting at times (especially near the end with A.J, please author don't do this to us) and I found it slightly confusing with A.J saying "you make me want to kill myself" whaaat?!...but I'm so glad I read on because the suspenseful twists and turns pull you in, the deep down love between AJ and Chloe grips you and it all comes clear with the emotional ending (no cliffhanger)I've only just found this author but she has gone to the top of my autobuy list, great writing style, gripping storylines, hot love scenes....did I say H.O.T ! and as I'm finding out whilst reading book 3 humorous and witty banter between the characters/family that I've fallen in love with too (I'm halfway through book 3 Sin With Me, which I'm finding a little lighter than the first two)Apologies for my review probably not doing the book justice, but it well & truly deserves 5+ stars, it's a fantastic read!

4.5⭐
I don't know where to start with this book. It was a really great read, but at times I found it hard going. As it deals with some pretty dark issues, and is full of angst, and so it's not the type of story I tend to gravitate to. That being said, I did get pulled in, especially with the twists and turns that make up the last twenty percent of this book. And all the characters were very likable, although I did have issues with A.J. But by the end my opinion did change for the better. As for the ending, it really intrigued me, and left me wanting so much more! And I would happily recommend Make Me Sin to others. Especially if you like your rock star romance edgy and full of angst.

A Must.
I started this straight after fininshing the first book in the series "Sweet as Sin".As with the first book there are a lot of twists, turns, dark secrets, laughs, love and tears, and not all from the characters.I think its a must to read the first book as this one picks up the thread that book 1 left.It tells the tale of Chloe the florist who finds that the love of her life comes with a dark cloud, and a bitter attitude to life in the form of the bands moody drummer A.J.Edwards.Chloe finds an inner strenght she didnt know she had, and A.J.....well you have to read the book.

Holy crap this book was a roller-coaster ride. I laughed, loved got angry and cried(which does nit happen alot)Somehow it turned out this book is even better then the first one. Im loving JT Geissinger's writting. In this book I just felt all of the emotions the happined and joy when A.J. and Chloe were falling in love, the anger, the sadness and heartache at the situation near the end.
