2010 NIssan Frontier Onboard Water System
My truck has a short bed so I had to compromise and take out my spare tire. I originally had a pressurized water tank in the bed, but took it out because it took up too much of what little space available and I blew the tank when I put too much pressure. But that's another story.I am running a SeaFlo 33 series pump with an accumulator tank. I have a two switch set up. One in the cab and another in the bed by the passenger side tail light. I like to be able to cut off the power from the cab.I did not come up with this design, but was inspired by Sponsored By Wifey's YouTube Channel. I based my build on his video "A look at my onboard water system on my Toyota 4Runner" .I am two water tanks. A 4 gallon mounted above the receiver hitch and a 3 gallon right behind the differential and near the crossmember. Both tanks are 6" PVC. They connect to the SeaFlo 33 Series via a garden hose splitter. I am able to control which tank I am drawing water from. The intake is also the outflow and controlled by a 4 faucet manifold. This allows me to fill either or both tanks with little trouble. Had to do some leakage mitigation; just a minor inconvenience. The pump and accumulator is mounted between the two tanks and is also connected to the manifold. After much trial and error, my system works well. Now for the review of the pump. The SeaFlow series by itself is a good pump. To be honest, I have not operated the pump without an accumulator. Based on the the recommendations I bought the pump and accumulator and installed both at the same time. The flow is strong. The self priming feature is great and The fact that I do not have to worry about the pump running dry is a relief. The pump itself is hefty. I feels durable. My only concern are the plastic fitting for connecting your hose line to. Other than that, it seems durable and well made. The pump has been working well and with the accumulator is very quiet. I am very happy with this pump.

So far appears to be a great value fresh pump.
Only 2 months in, so durability not evaluated yet.Overall whilst I haven't experienced any measure of longevity yet, the "fit, form and function" of this fresh pump seems to be quite the value for basic needs such as mine. Surely not the same total experience as a higher flow pump with multiple diaphragms and increased noise abatement, but for those who don't need such a premium experience (with quite dear costs) this pump is quite nice and presents much better value IMO.Bottom line:- Noise level: Not measured, but quite acceptable to me. With it mounted directly under the berth I *do* hear it throughout the boat, however at absolutely minimal volumes that I don't foresee waking anyone except the lightest sleeper. If the tank goes empty and it starts pushing air it will hammer a bit. Some day I'll break out the db meter and measure this.- On demand sensing works great - when I turn on the faucet, water is there and continues to be there. This is perhaps the most important aspect to creating an "at home" experience - no footswitches or pumps, not buttons, just a regular ole faucet.- No hammering or surging even with just a single diaphragm until water gets low - if it starts drawing air then it hammers. To be frank I like this as I don't have a gauge in my fresh tank, so this acts as my alert that water if very low.- While I have only two faucets, the flow is quite sufficient. Wash dishes, even rinse down cabin floor or countertop without any problem.- Same install as any other pump, quite easy particularly when combined with pex.I have to remind myself to take some photos / videos for everyone. I used this to replace a manual freshwater plumbing system in my sailboat and honestly I kind of hate the maritime industry, so when I saw an item that was more appropriately priced for it's design and manufacturing costs, I decided to give it a try.I'm very glad I did, this little guy so far is proving itself out very nicely. I've already recommended it to several rag haulers who are still pumping faucets.

Great unit!
Great option! I initially had a hard time figuring out which water pump to purchase. Glad I went with this one. Have an 8 year old camper and this unit took me 10 minutes to install. Even got lucky enough that the mounting points were the same. Pump works great! Primes fast and maintains.

fine pump, totally fake warranty
seems fine, it works well with the corresponding seaflo accumulator tank. however the 'warranty' is a manipulative scam, it doesn't cover burnout or any failures except 'manufacturer defects' which would likely be found within the return window, making it a pointless fake warranty. so if your pump stops working in a couple years and you try to warranty it under their 'four year warranty' they will just keep it and bill you to ship back a broken pump. a warranty is supposed to say, it will work for four years or we will help you. this is not a warranty.

Reliable 12V Self-Priming Pump for RV and Marine Use
This pump is a dependable choice for boosting fresh water systems in RVs and boats. I installed it in my camper, and it delivers steady water flow (~3 GPM) at 45 PSI, enough for normal running faucets and showers. The pump self-primes quickly, so I didn’t have to worry about air locks or manual filling. It starts running as soon as I open the tap and stops cleanly when I turn it off. I like that it works on 12V DC, so it matches well with typical vehicle systems. It’s built solid, with robust housing that handles regular use and won’t leak. It runs quietly and fits in tight spaces. The included fittings make it easy to connect to standard hoses. One small thing: it draws a fair amount of current, so it’s worth ensuring your battery or shore power can supply it. Also, it has a short auto-run time, so avoid running it dry.Overall, the SEAFLO 3.0 GPM 45 PSI Pump is a solid and practical solution for mobile water systems. It provides consistent flow, reliable self-priming, and fits well in RV or marine setups.
