Good rust remover. Helped with wire brush.
Works good but paint immediately due to the risk of flash rust on the treated surface.

Rust bubbles disappear
This item is fantastic; my car's top had some bubbles and rust spots on the roof. The product works great. I applied itAnd about two or three hours, I went out, the rust bubbles were gone, and the only evidence was a few rust spots. Now, I only need to buff the spot, apply again, and paint the area.Highly recommend

Good-bye Rust
This product worked as advertised and removed the long-term rust on soap pump brought out of storage. It's application is easy and requires a wire or plastic toothbrush. to scrub the rust spot. Once clean, I rinsed and dried thoroughly. It is now like new.

Defective nozzle and marginal on rust removal
Product really didn't work well on my product. I was really disappointed in the spray nozzle on the instructions it said moved nozzle to spray but it only has a straight stream, hard to move nozzle into position thought I was going to break it I was going to return it but I think I'll just try to find a new nozzle that fits the bottle hopefully it will make it easier to use

Works but you need to pay attention- can't just spray and let it sit
Works very well except you have to be attentive because if you leave it too long it hardens and the rust stain resets

There is no discernable evidence that the product works as advertised
I recently had to use and try a variety of products to loosen the zinc plated steel slide mechanism used in my filing cabinets...I should preface that due to heavy moisture environment that the cabinets were stored in the past few years, the rust problem was severe...I could not open the cabinets even with great force. The problem was the file slide mechanism w/ ball bearings were so corroded that the slide mechanism simply did not yield to any normal yanking/pulling force. Given the aforementioned, I tried a variety of products, including Rust-Oleum, Liquid Wrench, Naval Jelly rust removal, and of course the usual household lubricants such as 3 in 1 oil, WD-40, graphite, liquid Teflon and whatever lubricants I had around the house. I had high hopes for Rust-Oleum as it is more expensive and more "professional " sounding. The Rust-Oleum Rust Dissolver Gel acted the part by generating a "foaming" action on the rusted part, but after multiple tries I cannot detect any rust removal, meaning the corroded metal looked pretty much the same as before and tiny protrusions of rust were still intact on the glide surfaces. After multiple applications over a few days, the slide mechanism was still stuck and despite being yanked very hard in an attempt to free up the frozen parts, I could not get the slide mechanism to move even a few millimeters after multi days of Rust-Oleum applications. Using a rag to remove residual Rust-Oleum , and WD40, it appeared that the WD40 ( which also failed to work to loosen the stuck glide system, actually showed more rust ( judging by the color and residue on on the rag) particles were removed than the Rust-Oleum Rust Dissolver. In conclusion, Rust-Oleum Rust Dissolver performed miserably or not at all. Very disappointing indeed.
