I installed this battery in my iPhone 6s after the original battery started losing it's functional life span. I couldn't even listen to music w/ bluetooth headphones for 30 minutes without chewing through over 60% of the battery life. It was terrible. I installed this battery (which automatically voids all warranties, by the way, but it's a 6s so what do I care), and it's been great! The tools that came w/ the battery worked great, too. I just googled how to change a 6s battery and watched a YouTube video about it.As part of the install procedure, you're supposed to charge for 10 hours and then fully drain the battery, repeating that process a total of 3 times. W/ bluetooth running, streaming youtube videos, itunes, every app open on my phone AND running the flashlight, I kid you not, it took eight hours to drain the battery all three times! Amazing.My one warning to folks is this: BE CAREFUL when you remove the old battery and install the new battery. If you bend either even a little bit, you risk short circuiting the battery and causing a Lithium ion fire. That's what happened to me removing the old battery. Had to drop it (smoking) into a ceramic dish and put it on a stone wall outside until the reaction finished. It was kind of scary. So, yeah, be mindful of that risk.

First impression one week: Worthless purchase! I charged the phone per factory recommendations, and lucky if the battery holds 4 hours.Now....2 weeks later, the battery is staying charged for 18 hours! Giving credit, where credit is due....Thank you, Daxtromn, for your quick response!

Battery was well packed, shipped quickly, and worked as intended. Noticeable difference in how much longer the phone holds a charge now. The screen protectors were a nice added bonus - thanks for the nice surprise! Would definitely order from this seller again.

I initially had a problem with the battery I recieved, but the manufacturer wasted no time to correct the problem. I am very pleased with their quick response and I recomend buying their product because they stand behind it and have great customer service.

Used this battery to replace an ailing iPhone battery. The performance has exceeded my expectations and the battery is very high quality and is NOT a universal type of replacement, but manufactured for only the model of phone specified. I've already replaced batteries on several iPhones, and the procedure is not the easiest task, but is straightforward and most people can accomplish the swap if attention to detail and infinite patience is maintained. I had the professional tool set, but the kit has everything needed to open the phone. If you haven't done this model before, watch a couple of videos on Youtube prior to tackling this job- you'll be glad you did. Some advice: Have your work area VERY well-lit and have some magnification specs (unless you are young LOL). Also. use a white surface and be seated during the swap. or spread a white pillowcase over the area and secure it. The screws and pieces are tiny, and doing this job could be considered surgery LOL. The screws removed MUST go back in the same holes when reassembling; If a long screw is used in place of a short screw, this could short out the motherboard and brick your device. I used a magnetic tray to keep everything organised. Also, make sure to THOROUGHLY deplete the old battery until the phone shuts down. I didn't do this my first time and the old battery started smoking while it was being removed. Removal of the old battery is likely the most difficult part of the whole job, and the old battery will invariably get mangled during this process. Judicious use of a heat gun helps, but Apple doesn't make battery replacement exactly an easy operation; the double-sided adhesive strips are overkill. Opening the case is a problem also, and you must take your time since there is a waterproof gasket that makes this process challenging. Watch several videos and pay attention to this aspect and come up with your method. There are certain areas where you CANNOT pry on the cover or else you will risk severing a vital component. Get to know these "no-pry" areas so the phone is not bricked during this job. When case is opened, do not open the bottom more than 90 degrees, because there are 3 flex cables that have to be unclipped from the motherboard before the display can be removed from the top. I used a bookshelf speaker behind the display to support and lean the display against while I finished taking the 3 cables off, and this process can be awkward. If you exceed the 90 degrees, you can break the flex cables and the camera and ear piece will not function and must be replaced. ask me how I know this LOL! Good luck and just be patient when doing this. If you have impaired eyesight and/or your hands are not steady, I would recommend taking the new battery and the phone to a local repair center to tackle this very delicate swap.

Updated: The seller worked with me to my satisfaction. I hate that the battery stopped working so soon, but they were very easy to work with to take care of this issue.Received the battery the first part of August and it is the first part of December and it is dead - had to find the battery that this replaced to even get the phone to work again. I was hoping it would last longer.

There were some many companies to choose from and reading the fine print became so exhausting.PROS:-They supplied numerous tools that were very helpful with the removal and installation process.-OEM Battery capacity exceeds the genuine one 1715 Mah vs. 2200 Mah-Includes adhesive strips.-Instructions on how to effectively break-in this new OEM battery (Initial Charging process) are a must read! It's fairly simple.CONS:-One will have to search for reputable youtube repair videos to get the job done correctly, which I believe was suggested by Daxtromn, but that was a very easy task.Big Thanks to Daxtromn for creating out a solid battery and repair kit.P.S. moving forward I would love to see more instructions on removal and application of the adhesive stips for the battery.
