Make sure you look up several youtube videos as it took 4 different ones for me to get 100% detail on the intricacies. The entire replacement took me roughly 90 minutes, which was mostly fighting the adhesive. The kit has everything you need to replace your battery and it isn't difficult as long as you are careful and follow various videos. My long plastic pry tool did get damaged but is still somewhat usable. And there are two other plastic pry tools I didn't use. All 3 screwdriver types are magnetic which made handling the tiny screws much easier. I didn't consume anything from this kit besides the battery and the adhesive stripes, so you should be able to use the tools again for future battery replacements on other devices.So far the battery is preforming very well compared to my old one that would not hold a charge. This should extend the life of my phone another 2-3 years until the hardware is obsolete.

Screw drivers suck and stripped my friggen screws .. finding a way to remove screws now but battery looks decent just haven’t been able to put the battery inUpdate in my review may 26, 2020 they have offered to refund me my money in return I removed this review but sorry bub not going to happen keep the refund I could care less people need to know the product is faulty and in other reviews I herd the battery expands in 6-12 months and destroyed the phone .. so you decide ! Bad move on your part asking me to remove an honest review! Hope this one is better 😉😊!

Updated 11/13/19: I updated this rating to reflect the excellent customer service I received. The seller contacted me about the concerns I had mentioned in this rating and offered me either a replacement battery or a full refund. They informed me that their products have a 2 year warranty and were apologetic that the product did not meet my expectations.Review from 11/7/19: I installed this battery on 10/6/2019 and followed manufacturer's recommendations regarding draining and fully recharging to condition battery to hold a charge. I used this battery for the past month and I've been dissatisfied with how quickly the battery life drops, sometimes in increments of 5% to 10% under minimal use. Level seemed to drop below 20% just as quickly as the failed original battery it replaced. I've some questions whether this is compatible with an iPhone 7, Settings for "Battery Health" indicated Service, perhaps this might explain why it didn't seem to perform well in my phone. Finally I took my phone to a local non-Apple repair shop for another battery, which appears to be performing much better.One more thing: I couldn't access photos on my phone from Windows 10 while this battery was installed, and I spent HOURS troubleshooting, trying it on different computers, resetting the adapter, etc. to no avail. But with new battery, I can again see photos on my phone. Circumstantial evidence perhaps, but observations seem to indicate that iPhone 7 does not like this battery.

so six months after you install this perfect battery your screen starts to get pushed out because of the swelling of the cheap battery and it no longer can charge or discharge, and i’m fairly certain it has destroyed my iphone 7 permanently, what was I thinking when I put this battery in here?😂😂😂😂insanity

My husband was able to replace the battery on my iphone 7 easily, and everything worked well initially but after 9 months my phone battery started dying frequently. The manufacturer claimed it would last 2 years, but clearly that's not the case on this one. It's possible that I have a bad one. Edit: I have contacted the manufacturer and they were quick to respond. They sent a replacement battery at no charge which arrived very quickly. They seem eager to please and have contacted me repeatedly to make things right.

Want to start by saying I've replaced the batter on two iPhones before. Kit came with a part map, and YouTube video provided by the vendor. It was also cheaper. This was my first 7. No instructions are included, you are told to "check YouTube" for instructions on how to change iPhone 7 batteries. All of the tools included are either not strong enough or not thin enough to separate the phone from the case. You'll spend time aesthetically damaging your phone, and then if you're smart, you'll quit, like I did. Decent tool kit for something I'm sure, but dishonestly advertised.

Was a bit hesitant but so far so good. The only caveat is that the kit doesn't come with a replacement seal so be sure and get one. I reused the original and it's ok but I'm 100% sure that the iPhone is no longer waterproof. Included tools are cheap but sufficient for doing the job. Once.Battery was an exact fit and after a month has continued to perform spectacularly. If that changes I will update my review. This battery was slightly higher in capacity than the OEM which is one of the reasons I chose this kit. It seems to be true to that claim.

All the needed tools were included, absolutely imperative to watch a YouTube video about removal and replacement before trying this. Even with that,? it’s an arduous task. Along with the tools you will need patience and steady hands. A hair dryer and some kind of magnification device are very helpful. Bottom line, if can afford it, this is a task better left to a professional.
