I would like to highlight two things potential purchasers may find useful:*Works for African American hair - My boyfriend's beard was already thick, but as it becomes more gray the texture has become coarser. The brush was able to straighten his beard without completely removing the texture (i.e. it was straight but not silky straight after use). We took before and after photos, the difference is notable.*Works for short beards - He's in the beginning stages of growing his beard so the hair ranges from ~1" - 2.5" in various spots. The brush was able to grab and straighten all the hair. Note: I had to go over the shorter pieces of hair a few times to get it all (as the hair gets straighter it will become easier to grab), but even then the hair remained soft and his face was never burned.So far there are no complaints, thumbs up!

I bought this for my husband more as a joke but he actually really likes it. I had no idea he hated how unruly his beard could get. He says it has 2 temp settings and is pretty simple to use. It works great and does what it is supposed to. I was happy that it didn't completely straighten his beard as a regular straightener does mine. I just couldn't picture that being attractive. It did make it way less unruly but still as a beard should and he looks super handsome and still masculine.

Bought it for my brother and it transformed his beard. I was a little bit skeptical, but definitely worth it and at a reasonable price. No need to spend $40+ for 12 different heat settings. The simple low-high heat options were all that was needed. His beard is straighter, longer, and more tamed than it’s ever been. Works well on coarse and curly hair!

Works great! My hubby has thick course curly 4c hair and it helps straighten his beard without burning his skin

It works pretty well. Could be better, but not complaining at all. A less bulky version with finer bristles would be cool.

purchased this as a gift for my Dad and he loves it! I didn't know how well it would work because of his coarse curly beard, I was surprised to see how well it straightened his beard. Now I have to push him out of the mirror.. lol

This hot brush/comb is great! Simplistic and gets the job done! I use this to keep my beard groomed each day in my regimen.

It worked really well for a few months, and now it won't turn on at all.
