The World of Cyberpunk 2077 is an introduction lore book about the universe of Cyberpunk. Originally a tabletop game that was written by Mike Pondsmith and now a video game starting Keanu Reeves. This book is in an underground new inquirer's style, giving you all the deep lore with artwork, screenshots, and models from the video game.Now as, someone who has never played the tabletop but has played the videogame, despite the controversy, I still enjoyed the game and loved the lore of Cyberpunk, and this book is the perfect compendium to the world of Cyberpunk. You hear about the corporate wars and the sorry state of the world all the time during the game. Now you see how bad it really is, just like the real world! Sadly missing the cooler tech.All in six chapters and going into a deep dive on the Night City and the surrounding badlands with exclusive live interviews from people in the game. Such as fan-favorite Judy Alveraz, who talks about Brain Dances. Playing the game beforehand, you see all the cameos, is a nice touch that makes the inquirer gimmick worth it. As someone who enjoyed my time in Night City and wanted to know more about the lore, The World of Cyberpunk 2077 was a fantastic introduction to the game and the universe, Mike Pondsmith created. A must for fans of the game or the cyberpunk genre.

As an avid Cyberpunk 2077 fan I must say this is an AMAZING book! There’s lore, explanations, and so much more!

You can tell that a lot of passion went into the production of this AAA video game title from the environments, to the characters, to everything that went into Cyberpunk 2077. Another great coffee table read! Stunning production artwork and assets.

This hardcover art book published by Dark Horse Books offers a fascinating glimpse into the world of Cyberpunk 2077 and the many wonders and horrors it offers. This book is really cool and is a must-have for fans of the game as well as sci-fi in general. I only have two complaints and the first is I wish it was longer both with the narrative lore as well as the visuals. Hopefully they add much more in the future expansions with how much has been added to the game since it's initial release back in 2020. My second complaint is more towards Dark Horse itself, I wish they would publish more books such as this one in America, Canada, or some other country without using the cheapest labour possible. These are just personal opinions. Overall I enjoy this book very much and definitely recommend it. 7.5 out of 10.

This is a great intro into the universe. There is a lot of art in the book but it opts for more art and less screen captures. The most important part I feel is the lore behind the districts and gangs. Going into the verse with an actual idea what is behind it. Rather than being born into the verse with no knowledge in a 20 something gangster. I recommend this for anyone who intends to try and immerse themselves in the verse. I like how they write it in universe and keep composure. There is ample info about guns and cars but they really emphasize importance on Braindance. I am glad I got this on digits and hardcover, I’ll be going over this for the next 25 days with ample enthusiasm.

Cyberpunk 2077 has easily become one of my all time favorite video games, so it’s no surprise that I would hop onto Amazon to see if I could find a book dedicated to the lore. Not only is it decently priced (the back of the book has a price point of $39.99 - Amazon is $10 cheaper) but the quality is phenomenal. Beautiful hardcover with both a glossy and matte finish, thick glossy pages, sturdy binding, high res photos, gorgeous artwork, and a wealth of lore to read about. I would highly recommend this to all Cyberpunk fans.
