I was always a Otterbox Defender guy, keeping my phone clipped on the outside of my pocket with the belt clip. However, once I began working at a 3D printing company I found the dangling phone got hung up on things as I was working and generally just got in the way. I've since switched to one-piece cases like this and always went for black or grey.However, when I bought the Note 10+ I was intrigued by the "Aura Glow" color and ordered it, figuring I could cover it with a black case if I didn't like it. It turns out I love this color however - it reminds me of the back of a CD, shiny chrome until the light hits it right and brings out a rainbow of colors. Since I loved the color of the phone but still wanted to protect it from knocks and drops, I looked for a clear case that would show off the rainbow of colors.I settled on the ESR clear case for one simple reason, the kickstand. I always go for a case with a kickstand and this was the only clear case I could find that included one. I ordered it thinking it would likely be some cheap, flimsy case with little protection and a cheap kickstand but am absolutely floored by the astounding quality of this case! Although simple to install, the case grips the phone tightly with no gaps or unwanted movement. It protrudes slightly above the screen in the corners to protect the screen when laid face down, and is thick enough to provide significant protection against dings and drops. It also maintains the sleek, slim design of the phone, and fits easily into an adjustable dash mount. It is also very clear, showing off the Aura Glow color perfectly without any muting or refraction of the light.As for the reason I chose this case, the kickstand, this is the best part of the case! Where other popular cases have a stand that swings freely and only locks at gully closed or fully open, the ESR case has a metal kickstand that grips the case tightly, allowing it to stay in position at any angle! The quality of the kickstand and the case overall was a big surprise especially at this price, so kudos to ESR for getting everything right!

I had a big thick ass case that sucked. This one I can actually access charger port with ease and use my pen. I can wirelessly charge unlike others that said they could. The buttons are super easy to push. Also, the nub in back for the kickstand makes it super easy to hold, and pull out of pocket, plus the rubber of rest of case is easy to hold.Only real con is that it won't protect my phone as much as the freaking tank I had on before, but outside that, greatest phone case I ever had.Seriously though, the kickstand is amazing. I've broke at least 5 stands in my day, and this is best design I've ever seen, I can do both vertical and horizontal. It's amazing. Also, you can now see the back of my case, so ever cooler.Edit: I broke my kick stand but still love this case, so bought a 2nd one that I've successfully used for 1 year now.When using kick stand, like if set on desk, orient it so the kickstand lays flat on the surface, and not the opposite way where its like a stick holding it up.Why, because if oriented like a tent, and put pressure on the top, the stand can snap. I also have found that when stand is laying flat, its less prone to tipping over or falling, as disturbing it just closes the stand protecting it when falling, which is how I managed to make this one last.I'd take a photo but my phone is camera.

Good feel to hold. Not too bulky, nor too thin. A bit slick across the back. The stand was stable sideways, but would tip during vertical use. Wireless charging worked if I was very careful about position on the charger. Looked good with my shiny phone and discolored at a rate that wasn't especially noticeable. However, once the plastic started to get slack and popping off the sides and ends of the phone, it was time to get something new. Can't have the case peel off my phone while I'm holding it because I'm left holding the case while my unprotected phone heads to the floor. Then I really noticed how discolored it had gotten (see picture) and immediately started looking for a new one. It was a good case while it lasted, but it CLEAR-ly didn't last, ha ha, ugh.

I've had a hot and cold relationship with rubberized cases, so I held off on buying a case period because I wanted to show off the fantastic aura glow color. But I've come into situations where I needed a kickstand, and looked into this one. I haven't had it long, so I can't speak for it's durability long term, but I've had a number of kickstand cases over the years.• Where the stand sits is sleek and doesn't feel awkward, no matter what position you grip the phone• Stand clicks firmly into place when not in use, but opens easily. Most kickstand cases lack these two traits, especially taking the above into consideration• Buttons are nice and responsive, the amount of rubber that covers the buttons isn't overly large• The inside of the case where the kickstand was had a slightly textured but still soft section to where I'm fairly confident that it won't leave a stripe shaped mark when everything's said and done, and there's also a rubberized section in the middle of the inside portion of the kickstand, preventing the kickstand from scratching up itself.• The rubber encases all the key areas that would otherwise take damage compared to most cases. Not only does this mean that the phone itself will better absorb impacts, but the kickstand portion will as well if it were to be accidentally hit. It should last quite a while, provided that you don't press down on or try to hyperextend the kickstand hinge, which part of the packaging included specifically warns against.All in all, it seems to be a nice case, and well worth the money.
