[Upgraded] 5500 mAh MiFi 8800L/7730L Battery, BOANV Ultra High Capacity Replacement Battery for Novatel Jetpack MiFi 8800L 7730L Battery Mobile Hotspot P/N: 40123117

This battery is working perfect. We are using a MiFi 8800L for ISP broadband LTE internet. By the way of a Netgear EXT extender then running ethernet cable to MoCa. This combo runs our two houses with ethernet though LTE prefectly.We were getting batty expansion after having the 8800 plugged in constantly. We purchased this new battery, which works perfectly, and installed it into the 8800. Then we plugged the 8800 into a power strip that has a timer for half the plugs. Then set the timer to run 5 minites a day x 4 times.The battery has not expanded and works perfect.Keep in mind, you can not use the 8800 unless it has the battery installed, regardless of it being plugged into the wall.Good luck,

I write this review after having used the BOANV battery for several months. For some reason, Verizon the JetPack cannot track the charging of its battery and stop charging when it is fully charged. The Verizon instructions indicate the charger should be disconnected whenever the battery is fully charged, but this requires frequent monitoring to plug in and unplug the battery, so I left the charger plugged in around the clock. This causes no problems with my mobile phone, laptop, electric shaver, and many other devices, so I think many people have solved this problem. However, the Verizon battery eventually got very hot and the case swelled noticeably. Hence, I purchased the BOANV battery as a replacement. It is working fine. I should note that I also purchased a light timer, plugged in the charger, and programmed it to turn the charger on 4 hours, off 8 hours, on 4 hours, and off 8 hours. This keeps the battery from overheating. This might have worked with the Verizon battery, but we haven't test it.

Works great. My old battery had started to swell. Buying here is much cheaper than going to the Verizon store or going through the phone insurance.

This was my second try with this product. It did the same thing as the first that I also returned. My hotspot did not recognize the battery. Would not charge or operate. It just says no battery (see picture). I tried for two days thinking it was just a dirty connection or something. I did the same with the first one prior to returning it. No luck it did not work period. I could put my old bulging battery in and it worked fine but you are not supposed to use the battery once it starts bulging so I am keen to replace it. Do not buy this battery for the Verizon Mifi 8800L hot spot it is a waste of time.

Can't say much it's battery it worked. It's swelled up after about three weeks other than that yeah it worked don't buy it

Works just fine as long as is being charged. They recommend not keeping it always on charge but removing it with a full charge it goes down to 10% by morning.
