Tech Tools Flying Alarm Clock, Black

This alarm clock is the best for anyone that has trouble getting up in the morning. I am on an uberman sleep schedule and only get 2 hours of sleep a day, and this alarm clock gets me out of bed first everytime. The sound is not a beeping, like normal alarm clocks, that you can sleep through. It is more like the sound of an aircraft carriers deck in wartime. So annoying, and then you have to find the little propeller that can fly all the way across the room. At least the snooze button shuts it up for 5 minutes while you search. I haven't had any problems with it breaking, although mine is quite new, but for 8 bucks it is expected not to last very long.

Product did not work. Propeller never spun and wouldn't take off. Seller said I had to pay to return the defective product, before it would offer a refund or new product (which I didn't want since it didn't work in the first place). Also, refund would NOT include S&H. Seller said they wouldn't offer a full refund on an "opened" product (how do you know it doesn't work if you don't open it???) So I paid $20 for product, would pay $7 to return, and be refunded $13. Brings me to $14 in expenses in the end for a broken clock (which was the price of the clock to begin with). Not worth the effort on my part, which is probably why they do it. Was given NO SUPPORT from Amazon.

i got it and the power was to weak, it would spin but not lift off. the "alarm" was very quiet as well compared to any other alarm clock. i was really hoping for a new daily alarm and this did not fit the bill.

Looks like a lot of fun!! I just received it in the mail today. It was a Christmas gift for my sister... just hope it doesn't break or anything. It does kind of look like it could break easily. But other than that it looks great and I can't wait to see how it turns out. Give it as a gift to anyone who can't wake up in the morning! It's cheap and even if it doesn't last more than a day, it will make for a good laugh on Christmas morning. :)

A lot of people were reviewing this badly but I LOVE IT! It is exactly what my boyfriend and I needed. We could sleep through an earthquake I swear, but this thing totally works! Be careful how you put the propeller back because it is a little fragile. But it rocks. Best $15.00 alarm clock ever.

The alarm clock was awesome. And an innovative idea. Worked great. Problem was that it is extremely fragile, no control whatsoever over volume, and sometimes annoying. It is so fragile that i had it on my nightstand, went to get a drink out of my water bottle, hit it and it fell to the floor. It was minorly damaged but the flying thing cracked and it did not work again. I tried glue and tape but nothing worked. It is hard to manage it too because the flying thing only goes strait up. If you will buy it, take a few books depending on how thick the books are, and put them under one side of the clock. This will put it at an angle, and the clock will still work properly. The flying thing will fly across the room making sure that you actually have to get out of bed. Great innovative idea, but it has a dearth or structural strength.

I purchased this product as a gift and was extremely disappointed in it. It does not come with a power cord and requires 4 batteries and 2 watch batteries. There were already watch batteries in the alarm that were corroded and didn't work. Once we were able to get the battery situation fixed, it worked, but not in the way we were expecting it to work. The alarm did go off and made a lot of noise, but the flying part didn't fly off, but still had to be pushed very hard back on before the alarm stopped going off. After about 3 times, the alarm stopped working altogether. I suppose the price should have been a giveaway that the alarm would be cheap, but I still expected more than what I got. I would not buy this item ever again.

Not understanding all of the negative reviews about this. It has worked as advertised from the day we purchased it. Simple yet effective design and a VERY loud alarm! If you do not find this alarm to be very loud...you may want to consider having your hearing checked :). Seriously, this is a high quality product for the price, you cannot go wrong if you are looking for a fun way to wake up!

Fast shipping, great condition, works exactly as shown and is a fun way to wake up a teenager! Highly recommended for teenagers!

Tried emailing manufacturer and got no response. Did not work from the beginning. It shot beautifully into the air, however, there was no alarm sound. Useless. Also didn't like that you had to use batteries for it, why did this not come with a dc adapter cord?

This is a cheaply made product. The buttons stick and there appears to be faulty connections which make setting the alarm or time tricky. Save your money, this is a really crappy product.
