This is AWESOME HENNA
This product worked wonderfully for me. My natural hair color is dark brown to black. Your henna gave a rich warm auburn hue and covered the gray that I had. I had enough of the product to share with my mother. She was initially skeptical due to her hair was dyed light brown and growing out. My mother also did not wasn't the bright orange that she experienced in the past with other henna. Well, I applied it to her hair hoping that all would be ok.....she fell in love with the color it gave again a warm auburn. The color that your henna gives in unprecedented!!!! I am very pleased. I've purchased and used 3 different hennas which produced various degrees of satisfaction. Your henna has made me my mother extremely pleased with color and texture that is it leaves your hair. Please keep up the good work. You have really produced an awesome quality product. I will definitely purchase this your product again. Thank you

Strawberry Blonde turns Mermaid
I have naturally strawberry blonde hair, I have never done anything to it until now. I wanted to experiment so I watched a gazillion tutorials and gave it a go. I left it in over night, my hair turned super red. A couple weeks later and i'm finally getting use to it. I feel like a mermaid and I love my henna hair! Before and after attached....

Dark brown hair plus pure red henna = gorgeous deep red!
I'm a first time henna user. I have dark brown hair naturally but I have been coloring with traditional hair color for years. I had some coppery highlights and lots of gray roots. I originally planned to use a henna/indigo mix but in the end I wanted it more red than brown, so I ordered this pure henna. I have very thick, medium length hair. I ordered 300 grams and mixed up about 150 with black tea and Bragg raw organic apple cider vinegar. I let it cure for 10 hours before applying. Then I ran out of the mix about 2/3 of the way through so I mixed up another batch and applied right away. I see no difference in color or how well it took so next time I won't wait for the mix to cure before applying. I left it on for five hours, then rinsed without using shampoo. I missed a lot of areas since I couldn't see the back of my head, so I did a second application later that day and only left it on for two hours. Again, rinsed without shampoo and just used conditioner on the length of my hair. I absolutely love it! Yes, the gray is a bit on the orangey side right now but I'm told it takes a few days to oxide and the color will deepen. And each application after this will also deepen the color. I'm really happy with the quality of the henna, the price was terrific, and of course Prime shipping means no waiting over a week for it to arrive like with other companies. (I had ordered a henna/indigo blend from someone else on the 20th and it didn't arrive till the 29th. Seriously? It takes 9 days to go from TX to SC? I got tired of waiting and ordered the Henna Guys henna instead. Glad I did!)

Worth the effort, just look up better how to than package.
This henna totally lived up to my expectations. I'm a first time user, I'm allergic to chemical dyes and only realized it last year and wanted something that could cover my grey's, without adding to the damage I already have. I don't have a ton of what I call my stress streaks, just a peppering in my medium dark brown hair on the crown. I was also excited to hear so many people saw the quality of their hair improve. I wasn't interested in a huge change in color my husband said he likes the brown, and since I don't trust myself mixing indigo and henna, especially with my first experience, I used cold lemon juice and apple cider vinegar. Left it overnight and then put it in my hair for 6 hours before washing out. The color changed only a tiny bit darker and left the ends mahogany, where my hair was lighter. I've never had shiny hair, it was always coarse (thanks mom) and brittle even before traditional dyes. After the henna it's shiny and somehow feels thicker. Greys are gone, now just lighter shades of brown. It wasn't messy like I was expecting and the smell, even with apple cider vinegar was a natural smell unlike box dye. I loved what it did to my hair and will be doing it again. I've never written a review before but this product was worth the effort. Thank you henna guys!

Results vary.
I have waist-length fine hair and my natural hair color is ash/mousy brown (see my roots in the before photo below). My hair has also been chemically dyed before with red dye (April 2015) that has since faded (before photo also shows the faded chemically processed hair). The Application: I used the following with the 100g packet of pure henna: i) 1 cup of warm water, ii) 1/2 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar, iii) Ceramic Bowl, iv) Wooden Spoon, v) Rubber Gloves, vi) Plastic BagI applied the henna (took about an hour to section and cover the whole head), covered my head with the plastic bag to keep the heat in, and let it sit for six hours (I went to bed and slept). The washout was about 15-20 minutes and since I read that shampooing immediately after application isn't recommended since it takes henna a few days to oxidize, I only conditioned the hair. There is some staining on my forehead and my nails but nothing too serious.1 DAY AFTER: I was very VERY happy with the results and hoped that the color would stay as it was after the initial wash. Please see photo below. The hair does smell weird and I doubt many people like that smell but, again, nothing too serious.1 WEEK AFTER: Most of the rich red has faded after five sulfate-free shampoos before work. I am disappointed and on the top where I had about six inches of virgin hair, the henna is darker and it barely took. However, the hair is very shiny and super healthy.
