This is the strongest henna I have ever come across...I've used lush, it's pure and other brands before. This henna really will stain anything it comes into contact with. My hair has never felt so healthy after henna, usually it feels very dry but with this its silky smooth. My hair was a medium brown before I used this and I got the exact colour on the packet! I will buy this henna from now on as the colour and quality is unbeatable. Please do use Vaseline around your hairline and wear gloves, I also luckily covered surrounding areas with newspaper.

I have returned to henna after many years of chemical dyes. Don't know why i stopped using henna really. All you have to remember is to prepare your henna in advance. Saying this i wanted it done and didnt have time so i thought I'll just treat it as a great hair conditioner. I made the paste and actually mixed both together so only one step, applied it to my long hair wrapped it in cling film and put a nice scarf on my head. I left it on for a good 8 hours and then washed it off. It left a beautiful rich brown with natural tones you just don't get with chemical dyes. My hair is shiny and really well conditioned and it smells beautiful and earthy, if you like that kind of thing, which i do. Covered all greys, although i don't have that many just yet, just some roots. For me, this will be the way to go from now on and i will be buying this repeatedly. A real treat for the hair. Very pleased.

Lovely colour but not if you have grays! I have thick, course hair. Most of it came out looking really nice and shiny - great rich colour with an incredible smell that lasts for a long time. However, the grays at the roots (approx 20-30% of hair) went Tango Orange. Not a good look. I should probably have researched it more as apparently you can use some kind of Indigo dye along side it to cover the grays. A bit scared to go there again though. However, if you have no grays, I wold totally recommend this product. Fab colour, deep rich and vibrant. It also lasts and creates a real sense of tone.

Bought 2nd pack of this the other day. Been dyeing my hair red for 3+ years now with chemical shop bought stuff and this has saved it. Been using this for about 8 months now, split ends are gone, it is not dried and broken anymore. It is more vibrant, doesn't fall out as much and it's so much healthier than it used to be. Henna has bit of a strong odd smell, but you get used to it soon. Easier to apply than chemical dyes are, at least in my opinion. It does take much longer to wash out (took me 6+ showers, i have thick and long hair) but it is worth it. Make sure you apply moisturiser on your face, neck, chin and ears =easier to remove it after you make a bit of mess. It is definitelly better value, healthier and colour looks more natural. Defo worth a try, I will never start using chemical dyes ever again.

This is without doubt the best beard dye on the market. Gentle formula with no harsh chemicals and the colour is so natural. I have to say I don’t exactly follow the instructions - two teaspoons of the colour with one of the henna works fine. I don’t leave it for hours but mix and apply (in the bath - less messy!) one hour later I wash off. Give it a few hours after this and you’ll be amazed.I love love love this xx

Consistency of this henna is superb. Color turned out as expected. And everything would be cool only if not one BUT. Each time water gets on hair, it sheds color like crazy. Almost two months passed since I used it and still each time I take a bath it looks like I'm bathing in Fanta! Each time I have to hide from the rain not to ruin my clothes. Now imagine how often I need to do that in England! Also, color faded completely already. So I would go next time with ordinary henna, same results with no shedding.

if you have blonde and grey hair the red will eventually change ginger. my normal colour went auburn.it is best to mix and leave for the recommended time don't have it to dry and make sure you put vaseline around hairline ears and cotton wool to help withthe absorption of the drips staining comes off after several washes even on clothing. if you want to dye hair without chemical then this is a good product to use it comes with good information.

This is my the third purchase of Henna from this company. I love this colour on my hair and covers grey nicely. I mix it with water or occasionally with an egg and add a couple of drops of tea tree and lavender essential oils. Helps to prevent dry scalp. Will buy again.

This was 1st time using Henna. I am allergic to many chemicals in dyes and other hair products. I read pretty extensively about Henna, and tried to heed warnings of companies not using all pure ingredients, but adding dangerous chemicals that have caused harm. I decided on The Henna Guys due to claims of none of these added, it being dated for freshness, and double packaged in foil bag. I purchased the dark brown kit, which entails a 2step application process to properly achieve results. I mixed both separately, using 1/2 water and 1/2 lemon/vinegar/red wine mixture. I left overnight on counter with cling wrap. Next day, I applied the Pure Henna 1st. I left on 31/2 hrs. It made my hair a bright I Love Lucy orange/red. I considered keeping it that way! I placed the Dark brown mix in fridge overnight to decide. Next morning I applied the dark brown. I didn’t want total dark brown, but somewhere in between with a highlight effect. I braided my hair into sections, then applied, so that the dark brown would not penetrate fully. I left on for 2 1/2hrs. Both times it rinsed out well, and once rinsed, absolutely no more bleeding. Rinsed again with conditioner, and saw no color rinsing out. Also, no pillow staining. I am so happy not feeling any scalp irritation at all, unlike dyes. It covered grays extremely well even with only 1st application. I Love this Henna, and so do those around me. Great product, sister ordering too

Da ich keine chemische Haarfarbe mehr verwende, bin ich auf diese Henna aufmerksam geworden.Da mir die Farbe sehr gefiel, kaufte ich es mir.Ich kannte diese Firma noch nicht und hatte keinerlei Erfahrung mit deren Produkten.Wenn man seine Haare mit Henna behandelt, braucht man Zeit. Ich färbe meine Haare meistens am Wochenende.Nachdem ich diese Henna angerührt hatte, fing ich mit dem auftragen an. Ich finde diese Henna ist nicht so flüssig wie andere Hennas, die ich benutze.Nachdem ich es aufgetragen hatten, hieß es erst mal warten. In der Zwischenzeit wird dann hat die Wohnung geputzt. Da ich keine geduldiger Mensch bin, schaute ich ab und zu mal auf meinen Kopf.Leider konnte man nicht viel erkennen. Okay, dann weiter warten. Nachdem die angebende Zeit vorbei war, fing ich an meine Haare auszuwaschen.Selbst das Auswaschen war sehr einfach. Ich benutze nur Wasser zum Spülen. Nachdem ich damit fertig war, und die Haare gebürstet hatte, schaute ich meine Haare im Tageslicht an. Naja, eigentlich war es schon schummrig, aber meine Haare sahen erst mal nur dunkel aus...ok, warten wir bis zum nächsten morgen.Am nächsten Tag hatte ich Glück und die Sonne schien. Ein Glück für mich. Mit einem Spiegel in der Hand stand ich am Fenster und schaute meine neue Haarfarbe an...Wow...tolle Farbe! Sie leuchten richtig schön, wie soll ich sagen in Aubergine, Dunkelviolett. Ich bin begeistert.Einen Stern muss ich aber abziehen: Bei jeder Haarwäsche, blutet das Wasser sehr.Ich finde die Farbe hält trotzdem gut. Ich habe inzwischen schon zweimal nach gefärbt.Ich werde auch noch weitere Farbnuance der Firma austesten.

Bestes Farbergebnis, was ich je hatte! Ich färbe schon länger meine Haare mit Henna, habe diverses ausprobiert: Khadi, Radico, Logona... Aber dieses Henna hat mich echt überrascht! Die Farbe (Burgunder) ist exakt so geworden wie auf dem Bild, kaum zu glauben, dass keine Chemikalien enthalten sind. Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung!

[+]Also die Farbe ist wirklich geil. 1:1 so wie auf dem Bild. Handhabung ist auch einfach. Man kann einfach der Beschreibung auf der Verpackung folgen und da geht nichts schief. Ich hatte vorher gebleichte Haare (von braun auf blond) und hatte sie davor 2 mal gefärbt (einmal gescheitert silber und einmal rot was leider rausgewaschen ist). Trotzdem ist die Farbe wie erwartet herausgekommen. Der Geruch ist wie Gras. Fand ich ok.[-] Eigentlich wollte ich 5 Sterne geben. Aber die Farbe blutet nach 2 Wochen immernoch aus. Es ist richtig nervig. Selbst wenn man sie echt trocken hat hinterlässt man auf dem Bett Flecken wenn man am Abend duscht. Keine Ahnung ob das rausgeht. Wer nicht sportbedingt abends duschen muss und dunkle Handtücher hat sollte kein Problem haben.

Le meilleur henné que j'ai pu testé en 10 ans!Superbes reflets bordeaux/violine sur ma base brune avec une bonne couvrance des cheveux blancs. Et sans produits douteux dans la composition.Pas trop de changement en periode d'oxydation.Pose courte 3-4h pour un resultat...Waouh!Et n'asseche pas les cheveux, bref une perle...sauf le prix maintenant : 21e au lieu de 12e, ca pique!Dommage c'était la perle rare

I had been considering changing my hair color but didn’t want to risk damaging my hair with chemicals. I also really, REALLY wanted to try out a red color, but I knew it would involve bleach because my hair is such a dark shade of brown. SO, on a whim, I decided to try out this henna dye for the first time because the reviews all seemed fairly positive!I made quite a strange concoction—I mixed the red-orange henna powder with a whole lemon’s worth of freshly squeezed lemon juice and 2-3 TBSP of honey (to help naturally lighten my hair color), about 1.5 TBSP of olive oil (for softness), and about 1 cup of warm distilled water (as directed on the package). It seemed pretty clumpy even after stirring, but I went ahead and covered it with plastic wrap and let it sit for about 15 hours. It was a smooth pudding-like consistency once I was ready to use it!Now, because I read that henna tints hair color (the lighter your hair, the more vibrant the color), I was prepared for a slightly redder hair color but that’s about it. After letting it sit on my hair for 4 hours under a shower cap, I was amazed by my results—my naturally dark brown hair is definitely copper now and has never felt softer! I was so impressed!!Hooray for natural alternatives, even if it looked like baby poop smeared all over my hair while I waited for the dye to set in! I gave it four stars because yellow-orange water still comes out of my hair each time I shower.Unfortunately, I did not take a “before” picture before trying it out so the “before” selfie here is one I sent to my parents in December after I got a haircut, haha. No hair dye in it, though, so I thought it was a good one to show my natural color.Needless to say, I will definitely try this again!

I tried this 3 times, but still my beard hairs are remains brown. Not even single hairs turned to black. Exactly I followed the steps as mentioned in the guide. Either may be duplicate product I received or product itself has some defect.

Werd es wieder holen. Ja sie blutet ziemlich aus. Aber der Farbverlust ist minimal und das rot ist grandios.

Red colour leaked for a month before I decided to remove it with Vitamin C. Every time I washed my hair the bath was red and my towels were too. What henna releases dye in 30mins? The colour was bright and nice. Just suspect ingredients.

Loved the results!!! It is messy, but totally worth it. My hair turned out to be a beautiful red for a fifth of the cost to do it on a salon.
