No need for magnets!
Found these clips and purchased for various bags. They work great. Very strong, keeps the chip bag closed. I didn’t need magnet clips which seems to be all you can find at stores. These clips were perfect!

Great Clips
This is the second time I ordered these clips. Would have given 5 stars but only got 9 clips. I'm going to keep them but disappointed

Do you want a strong bag clip? Here you go.
If your fingers are weak you may not want these.Some or most of them do have leftover flashing on some edges here and there. It's mostly where you wouldn't touch it.I took a sharpening stone to some edges which helped a lot. A small fine file might work well too.It probably isn't necessary to do this, I just wanted a better finish.I'm happy with them.

Great clips, last forever, versatile.
I've bought 2 sets of these now, because I needed more. These are strong, not one has broken or malfunctioned in years, they can be frozen, wash easy, dropped. They don't rip packaging, they hold through expected use.No complaints, easily recommended, replace plastic nonsense or clothespins and never look back.

Stamped metal, solid, but might be hard for arthritis sufferers
I got sick of tossing out cheap plastic chip clips because either the handles or the hinges failed. I wanted to get something more durable. These fit the bill. They aren't made from the thickest metal stock, but they are certainly sturdy enough for kitchen use (and perhaps light workshop use). Two things I would caution for those considering these. The spring strength is great, but that means that the act of opening them might be hard for those with limited grip strength (specifically arthritis sufferers). And when they first arrive, check the edges for sharp spots. They are stamped out of metal and a couple of ours had some spots that could leave a cut ... though that's easily fixed with a file in a minute.
