The integrated safety ring ensures the user with better retention of the blade.  With a finger in the safety ring, it makes disarming or dropping the knife more difficult, which is an advantage in tactical situations where you can’t afford to lose grip on your knife. Advance users can use the karambit as an enhancement to their grappling techniques. We’ve also built in an additional function on the safety ring, it can be used as an emergency glass breaker or if you are using it as a knuckle buster it will cause more damage to the attacker.
