Helped senior cat
This helps my cat keep his potassium normal. I mix it with a bit of churu treat and he eats it right up. I wished you got more as this doesn’t last us a month.

Great Product!
My kitty was diagnosed with renal failure. She had stopped drinking and eating. She was dehydrated and had lost two pounds. I have been using the following products, and she has turned around. She is drinking (weirdly she only drinks out of a drinking glass which I keep filled) and eating again. She is holding her weight.• Pet Wellbeing - Kidney Support Gold for Cats - Natural Support for Feline Kidney Health• NODENS® - Pet Health CAT HIP and JOINT Glucosamine for Cats with Chondroitin and Opti-MSM Hyaluronic Acid for Improved Joint Flexibility and Pain Relief from Inflammation and Arthritis 2 floz• GNC Pets Ultra Mega Multivitamin Plus for All Cats - Chicken Flavor 3.5• Vetoquinol Renal K+ Potassium Supplement with B-complex Vitamins Gel (5 Oz)• High Calorie Booster Premium Gel Formula in Yummy Chicken Flavor 5.0oz by GNC• (CAT) USDA Organic Liquid Probiotic for CATS by MaryRuth's (Plant-Based) USDA Certified Organic Non-GMO, Vegan, Raw, Paleo, NO Corn, NO Yeast, highly potent live strain flora 4oz glass bottle• Egg whites• Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Renal Support D Morsels in Gravy Canned Cat Food, 3-oz• Royal Canin Veterinay Diet Renal Support T Canned Cat Food, 3-oz

Maple flavor gel, my cat preferred a vanilla-custard flavor version available by prescription
I had ordered this tube when I misplaced an identical tube which I had purchased from my vet at more than 2 1/2 times the cost. This is for pets with renal problems when blood work shows they have low potassium. While I could easily get the 1/2 teaspoon into my cat's mouth and she swallowed it- she disliked the strong maple flavor. After given this gel, my cat would run about 10 feet away for a couple of minutes. I researched similar tubes of potassium gluconate gel made by other companies, and found that Renalkare flavors their gel with vanilla-custard. While I still have to reach for the tube and put a half teaspoon on my finger out of sight of the cat or she will move out of reach, she does not mind find the Renakare Gel's Vanilla custard taste as much, and will stay put once given it rather then run several feet with a mouthful of maple gel (which she did swallow). However, dogs may love this maple flavored gel. This company makes a powdered form, which while they say it is not flavored, it has fish meal as an ingredient and is thus fish-flavored (the powder version made by the other company, RenaKare, is vanilla custard flavored like its gel). The gel by either company is probably much easier to administer, as when the powdered form is sprinkled or mixed in wet food, that food may not be eaten and the pet may not receive the proper dose of the powdered form. A 1/2 teaspoon of gel is equal to 1/4 teaspoon of the powdered versions. All the other companies other then Vetoquinol (the maker of this brand), require a prescription by a veterinarian for their version of this product (which one should be able get pending blood/lab work). Again, a dog may love the maple flavor; and I found the gel form a much easier and more sure proof way to give potassium gluconate to a pet, than the powdered version. This gel did leave the strong maple flavor scent on my cat's breath- we don't have that problem with the vanilla-custard flavor gel of the other brand which I later ordered.

Parvo Puppies
This was recommended as one of the several in-home treatments for parvo by the vet ER. When the puppies were sluggish and not lifting their heads, I’d use this and within 30 minutes I saw a difference, even if that meant more alertness with just their eyes. Some pups had parvo more severely, so don’t give up. Use this at least 1-2 times a day. Along with IVs, antibiotics, Karo syrup, anti-nausea meds, and force feeding, I saved 3 out of 4 pups.

Do not purchase.
My cat refuses this. She won't even take it mixed with her favorite treat. Just a warning in case you're considering purchasing this.
