Great first harmonica!
Sounds great 👍Reeds start to stick after prolonged use (moisture and air particles combining to create a film), but cotton swab + vodka fixes it.And then it sounds great again!Amazing product for the price.

For my 6 yr old son
My son has been into everything music the last couple years. And one instrument of choice is the harmonica. At first I bought a cheapy toy grade one, yet after see he was playing it well. I stepped it up and got him this one. So glad I did because this harmonica is top notch quality. Beautiful sounds. And super easy to clean!!!I even decided to pick up one for myself to learn with, just the one classified for Adults. Best value for your money. The weight feels solid. Super ease of play. And the color look great in black. My son loves it! The other morning I woke to the sound of him making music with it as best he could. And that made me proud!

Good quality, GREAT value, NOT a toy
East Top Free Blues, key of C reviewed by mid-skill-level player comparing to Hohner Rocket.Summary: Surprisingly good performance considering the price. Not a toy: Great starter harp, serviceable too as your backup. Here's the detail.Case is hinged, hard plastic (a bit hard to open), with cleaning cloth.Beautiful appearance: C is dark silver-gray/black.Covers are fastened by Phillips screws top and bottom, and recessed into plastic comb, as with Special 20 and Rocket. Comb edges are sharper than the Rocket but rounded and still comfortable to play.No reed adjustment required, right out of the box.Good reed response on lower and middle scale, takes a bit more air on high notes--workable response, not as good as the Rocket, but good enough.Air is vented well out large openings in back; sides are closed.Easily performs bends and overblows even high on scale. "Tongue slap" works to create percussive notes.Key letter is plainly marked front and right side (nice detail, important for quickly choosing the right harp from several while playing with others).Recommended for beginner trying out harmonica: Free Blues is good enough so not to discourage like a cheap quality harp would do; also recommended for gift to let recipient try out on a good harmonica. At this price, both C & A would be a good start: C for so many online lessons, A to plays blues along with backing tracks in E.You could just let these harps be the only ones you buy and be happy enough. Don't know how they would hold up for performances, but, hey! Inexpensively replaced.

You should buy this harmonica if you are a student
This is a good beginner harp. It has a lot of bluesy grit, and bends pretty well. It is also easy to take apart and clean. I recently got some other, more expensive harps, but I keep coming back to this one.
