Q: The top of the bigger wooden tool is stripped and won't stay on. it is supposed to screw on. can i get a replacement top?

That’s exactly what happened to me. I contacted the seller and they were great to work with. They sent me a replacement and it works great.

Q: How do you insert the needle in the smaller tool?

It's very simple. There is a little peg that inserts into the handle WITH the needle. There is a groove that runs down the side of the peg that the needle fits into and they both slip into the handle and tighten as it is pushed in. Mine has worked perfectly and I use it every day. Thanks- Ty L.

Q: Does it come with a storage container

The needles come with storage containers. The multi tool comes in a flimsy plastic box. Not really intended for long term storage.

Q: Are these different gauges or just different lengths?

Despite earlier answer from the seller, these are definitely three different gauges. I am an experienced needle felter. I believe they are 36, 38, and 42 gauge.
