I had to purchase bath stools every few years because metal parts got rusty and screws punched through the plastic seat. Water got trapped inside which would drip long after I was finished taking a shower. They were unsafe as well as unsanitary.I finally decided shelling out money for stools which didn't last was a waste and began looking for something more durable.This stool is perfect. The height and width are just right, there are no parts to rust, it is white, stable and very safe and looks nice in my shower. It is more expensive but will save me money in the long run.

Love the looks and sleek design. Heavy enough to be safe, slides easily and plants well.

This seat is very dangerous. It slid out from under me the first time I used it. I fell in the shower.

Very solid little chair. Although it is plastic, it feels and sits substantial. They have rubber tabs on the bottom to help keep it in place. Herein probably lies a problem as those rubber adhesive pads will never stay on in the wear and tear of a shower (four stars, instead of five). Still, the chair is really a nice fit for a shower and is surprisingly sturdy.

I rarely write a negative review. This bench consist of two pieces. I think it would be a fabulous bench it is was just one. The lid on my bench does not fit properly. Water makes its way in and fills up the the inside of the bench. I must constantly dump the water out of it. Unfortunately, I am to the point of just throwing it away.

I originally wanted the Kohler shower with the moveable seat built in, but the stall was too big for my bathroom. So I opted for a different stall. This seat serves the same purpose and I can also use it outside the shower. It has a stylish look and meets all my needs.Jul 2016 - After using this seat since Oct 2015, I have found a design flaw. The indents for lifting the seat are on each end. However, I wish there were ones on all 4 sides. It would make it easier to pull the seat forward an inch or 2.

Clean, easy to move, serves purpose well.
