Buy this lamè, it works well!
Why would I need a lamè I thought, I have sharp kitchen knives and they work to score the top of the bread dough. It's just a razor blade on a stick with a handle, right?Oh, I was wrong.The lamè cuts through the surface of the dough faster, easier, deeper, and more cleanly than the kitchen knives.This lamè has a little leather blade cover, so that the razor blade is not exposed when you are done scoring your dough. A nice and necessary item if you don't want to remove the blade after every use.And the included razor blades are SHARP!Yes, it's a uni-tasker. But it does that task well and easily.Would I buy this again if I lost or damaged it somehow? Yes.Recommended. Buy it, it works well.

Works great!
I use this a lot! It scores the sourdough bread very easily and its easy to hold. I gave it a four because I have heard that using a small round bread lame cutter would be easier.

Exactly what I needed!
I love making sourdough, and this has made it so easy to try designs! The quality seems amazing! The handle is comfortable for me. I also like that it comes with extra blades and a cover. I think it was work paying a few extra dollars to get the long handle.
