Junket Raspberry Danish Dessert, 4.75 Ounce (Pack of 3)

I have loved this pudding for ages. Aparently its not made anymore or in demand. It is very hard to find. I prefer the Raspberry, it is more flavorable than Strawberry. Kind of expensive now,. When grocery stores used to stock it the price was less than three bucks a box.

The Raspberry is our favorite pie filling!

This is our favorite pudding and cookie filler. It hasn't been available in out stores for over a year. I took a chance and found it on Amazon! If you love smooth fruity pie filling or pudding, this is the one to buy! Sour and sweet at the same time. My mother used to make this when I was little, I am now 69 and still love my Danish Delight!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Many years ago I first made this dessert. Easy and so, so good, especially if you add in some fresh raspberries. Unfortunately, I've now realized that its ingredients contain the Red dye #40, as well as another color dye. As I'm trying to eliminate such artificial additives from my diet, I will not buy it again unless the artificial dyes are removed. Here's hoping!

I love pie. Instead of a birthday cake, I make myself a fresh strawberry pie every year. Junket also makes a strawberry flavored filling, but I feel the raspberry adds a little tang to the dessert. Very easy to prepare, just heat the powder in water to boiling & it thickens into a filling that can be poured over a graham cracker crust pie filled with fresh strawberries!

I should have listened to the negative reviews before ordering. Changes to this product from years gone past have made this most unpalatable. Danish Dessert used to be a delicious clear, ruby red pudding that I used as a topping for ham with pineapple chunks added. Unable to find it at any grocery store, I was thrilled to have found it available on Amazon. I experienced exactly what the negative reviewers described as a very dark, almost black, gloppy tasteless pudding that did not even come close to resembling what it once was. Unfortunately, I ordered three boxes and ended up throwing all away. Don't waste your money. You will be disappointed in this product.

If you want to make a stellar fresh raspberry pie, or a topping for a cheesecake, this has been my secret ingredient for years! It’s great with fresh or frozen raspberries. It’s even amazing on fresh peeled peaches!
