After returning 2 other brands of this type, which did not work as they said it would, I finally found this one. It fulfills all the promises it makes, and seems to be really good quality control. The bass is great and doesn't overpower the other ranges. The buttons on it are raised and easy to use. Great design. Good full sound, strong good bluetooth and connects easily with my Mac and iPhone. Works direct with a audio cable too. If you want to change the bluetooth source, you just hold the play button for 5 seconds and it then the bluetooth can be used for a different source, like computer and then phone. If you use the audio cable, then it turns the bluetooth off. When I listen to a kindle book, the forward and back button will go forward or back 30 seconds. I love that they trust their product enough to give a full year warrantee. Other brands were just 90 days and folks had lots of problems after it. If I have any problems later I will edit this. This is a keeper. The price is really reasonable and worth a lot more. Get it at this price while you can, for they say after a few months it will go up considerably.After using this for a few months, I have to say I love it except for one thing. Because it is a round cylander with a small flat base, if I knock it slightly, it starts to roll, and it has rolled off the table a few times. I have to be really careful. The fall has not damaged the unit though.

This has great sound. I can listen to this upstairs without difficulty when my android is downstairs without zero loss of quality. Worth buying. The distant range is unbelievable for a portable Bluetooth device. I wish my Bluetooth earpiece for my phone was as good as this.

The speaker is very portable and doesn't take much space. Bass quality was good and audio is crystal clear. It gets very loud, Audio quality is excellent. Pairing is simple, easy and very fast. It also has a long-range connection.The microphone when receiving a call was also excellent. The audio was crystal clear and no complaint from the recipient's side of distorted voice. Did not need to shout when carrying a conversation on the phone. Overall, this speaker is a bang for your buck.

I generally don’t like surprises. The DG Big MagicBox, however, was a pleasant surprise. The speaker itself is well designed and aesthetically pleasing. Some of the new Bose speakers look kind of funky, but this speaker is sleek in comparison.The sound was also a bit of a surprise. For the price, this speaker is very impressive. It is not as clear as the Pill by Dr. Dre, or other speakers by Bose for example, but for the money, it sounds great. There is a caveat to that. It sounds great at higher volumes. At lower volumes, the speaker struggles to keep clear. The mids tend to drown out everything else. In contrast, at higher volumes, the treble notes are crisp. The bass also wakes up and has good response. It was laggy and didn’t sound like it was going to kill itself with the vibrations.The on-speaker controls are convenient and work just fine. The pairing process was simple and straightforward. The speaker also displays battery life on the phone. Another feature I liked is that the speaker and the phone’s volume controls are synced. However, the speaker doesn’t get very soft. I like to listen to music almost all the time and found that I wanted the speaker to be quieter during the wee hours of the evening and morning. Additionally, the sounds that the speaker makes when pairing, powering on and off, and when the battery is low are not pleasant. They sound very cheap, are quite loud, and very rough to listen to frankly.Despite my few complaints, the speaker performed well. I was pleased at the quality of materials and how that reflected itself on the sound quality. For the money, it is one of the best speakers I have listened to and I would recommend for those who want a decent portable speaker with good sound and don't feel like shelling out for a Pill. Download a good bass boot app and bass is great. *Thr blutooth stopped working and my phone couldnt find the speaker. So I smacked it on my palm. Then thr sesrch found it again. Maybe my grandpa had something there smacking his 70's TV on its side. Worked for this glitch.

I ordered this on August 29, 2017, so it's not yet a year old. It was a pretty good Bluetooth speaker for the money.It would connect automatically to my Echo Dot when I turned it on. But, about 2 weeks ago it developed a problem that makes it completely unusable. The music surges. It's as if someone turns the volume completely down and then turns it up again. It does this about every second. So, in 10 seconds, the music is off and on 10 times making it completely unusable. It does this on both my Echo Dot and on my iPhone.

Initial use out of the box: good sound and easy to set up. What remains to be seen is battery life, which caused me to replace my Oontz Angle 3 after only nine months of use.

Great little speaker! Amazing customer service. Received it fast and very well packaged. The speaker was not as loud as we expected but all its features worked as advertised. Compact, sleek, fast charging and no hitches on the blue tooth feature. We'll go with something more powerful but, for those who need a high quality speaker with enough power for small spaces and at a great price, you can't go wrong with this item.
