AWESOME Series: This one doesn't disappoint
This book was fantastic. Just like the 4 that came before it. This series grabs you right from the beginning. You feel like you're immediately a part of the book and connected to the characters. It's amazing how you can be drawn so completely into the story and can lose yourself in this world. I found myself reading this book so quickly that I had to force myself to slow down and read all the words as not to miss anything. This book was gripping from the beginning and left me dying for more. I'm counting down the days to the release of the next book in the Sorcerer's Ring series. If you're at all interested in books of this genre READ THEM....I promise they won't disappoint. If you've never read books from this genre ...READ THEM....and you'll be hooked. :)

Best one since Book 2
I read the first four books in this series about three years ago and just now got back around to continuing. I really enjoyed the first two books in the series but I was incredibly disappointed in book 3, and book 4 was not much better. In fact, it was around book 4 that I felt the series had become only a fantasy soap opera. However, I really enjoyed this book and feel that it is a further improvement on the series since book 3. It has brought back the sense of adventure that was present in the first two books. Perhaps it is the time I took in between books that made me enjoy this one more, but I didn't finish this book disappointed as I did with books 3 and 4.That said, this series still has some very annoying and stupid parts to it. The fight scenes are often almost comical because of how every main character comes inches away from death but is always miraculously saved at the last second. There is one scene in particular that used this about 4 different times in the span of only two pages. It was ridiculous to say the least and I found myself laughing out loud while reading what was supposed to be an intense battle scene. Also, towards the beginning of the book there is a scene where a certain character somehow kills a hundred man army alone and walks out of it unharmed. Ridiculous... Also, I did not particularly like that there was a rape scene at the end of the book. For the most part this has been what seemed to be a teen series, so I don't think it's good to include rape in it. I am not a teen myself, but I would find it hard to recommend it to my younger siblings because of this. It wasn't particularly detailed, but the fact that it happened was very bothersome to me.All in all, this was one of the better books in the series so far, and I hope that book 6 continues in these improvements.

Excellent!
After four thrilling books, I was expecting a close, but Morgan Rice did it again! This series is full of everything and then some. This book, however, blew my mind. With just enough plot twists to keep you guessing and plenty of action to keep it interesting, this one is by far the best. It delves deeper into the mysteries surrounding the Ring and the Empire along with its history, and sets the stage for bigger and greater things. Though it is a fast read with a few grammatical errors, its still a wonderful read! I'm looking forward to the next, and HOPEFULLY not the last, book.

This Author has great potential.
I have read all the other books in this series. I think this Author has great potential, but is suffering from basic writing errors. There are less grammar and spelling mistakes in the last few books compared to the first two. However there are still many thing that made me stop and think things over. In the earlier books there was a poor and obscure sense of timing. There is a better sense of timing in this book in the sense that you don't wonder what day it is or how time is flowing, but it could still use some work. I often caught myself thinking that horses and people couldn't go at this pace without dropping dead. I know real life doesn't usually give you time to rest, but most of the events just felt rushed. It also had unrealistic situations even for a Fantasy book. Some of the battle scenarios were unrealistic. For example the snow leopard seemed to be tearing off body parts all the time. Being a massage therapist I know a little bit about muscles and the human body. While I do believe its possible for a large cat to bite off someone's hand, ripping an arm off is a little more tricky. Ripping an arm off a heavily muscled, armored warrior would be even more difficult. I think this Author would greatly benefit from better editing, and more research. Researching battles and the logistics of war would improve the battle scenes mush more believable. Also researching anatomy and how human and animals bodies work would improve some of the more unrealistic physical events. I caught myself thinking things like, This cat rips off body parts all the time, These must be some poor warriors to fall so easy, The Author describes the warriors as classic knights, but their armor must be crap, How is everyone going at this pace?, How can their horse(s) still be going?, there should be dead horses and people rotting all over the place, if the invaders are just wholesale slaughtering what's the point of conquering? There will be no one left to rule, If. The cat is big enough to rip of arms how can it fit on a horse Ike that?, How are people healing so fast?, Are there magic healers running around that weren't mentioned?, Wow wasn't it convenient that things happens that way? Yep, saw that coming.I could go on, but I'm sure you get the idea.Even with this series being a Camelot like fantasy with a little extra fantasy added in, like more magic and magic creatures/people, the story is still good. In the first book I feared that the Camelot theme would eventually bore me, but the story became original enough to keep me reading. The spelling, grammar, and other errors were annoying, but I could ignore them. The errors became less as the series progressed, and the story, while unbelievable at times, was old enough to keep me reading. The story has drug on little longer than expected and needs to be wrapped up in the next book. I look forward to reading the next and hopefully last book in the series.

Love the Series!
I was so happry to see book 5 come out and read it in 2 days! Now I need book 6!!!!!!!I wasn't really wanting to get into the first book but stayed with it and after a few more pages, I found that I was hook and couldn't stop. I'm now following the characters and the story line to see how it all comes together in the end.I'm not one of those readers that has to have perfect spelling or grammer! I read the series for the story to "get lost in it".I would recommend this series to anyone who just wants to read and enjoy a great story for what it is!

Good book
A good fantasy book. I enjoyed it very much. Didn't realize that it was a series and I haven't read the previous books. But I will!
