Works exactly like I expected, its a solid motherboard

Ok first forget the specs on Amazon, this is an LGA1700 not for a "Intel Core 2 Duo" I don't know where they got that...lol. So this will be a little more money then the cheapest B660 motherboards, but you get what you pay for. This has real good VRM's for its price 2 m.2 slots and 4 usb 3.2 and support for a 3.2 on the front panel. It could use better audio and a faster Lan, but most people can't/won't use or notice the difference. The bois flash back makes it easy to drop a 13th or 14th gen chip in. Asrock make really good budget boards both the B560 and B550. On the budget end I would only use Asrock or Gigabyte...ASUS and MSI are fine on the higher end, but their budget boards kind of suck.

for the price its pretty good. it won't be able to supply above 180W to your CPU for very long before the VRM's throttle, so i would suggest using a non-k intel cpu. and even if you get a k cpu, its not too bad. from 14th gen stick with i5-14600k or below in terms of power consumption. you can probably get away with good performance from a i7-14700. same thing for 13th gen. for 12th gen, i'd suggest up to an i7-12700k however thats lowkey pushing it.

This is a great little Mainboard. Everything setup easily, there were no hiccups at all. After the OS was installed all the drivers installed like they were meant to. Smooth as silk. Everything was as advertised with one exception. This board supports ARGB / ASRock Polychrome Sync. Nowhere in the ad or even in the manual does it state or say thee are ARGB LED's on the under side of the board, just under the SATA 2 & 3 ports. I was rather surprised to find that when I powered on the PSU those LED's lite up. With the gen.4 NVMe SSD drive installed makes this computer boot time so fast. From the time the POST screen shows to the usable working desktop is less than 15 seconds. For the price, I would defiantly purchase again.

I’ve been struggling with a persistent issue related to my ASRock motherboard. Despite replacing multiple components including the CPU, RAM, and GPU, the problem remained unresolved. I reached out to ASRock support and provided detailed information, expecting some form of meaningful assistance.Instead, I was advised to purchase a new SSD to rule out storage issues. I followed the recommendation and replaced the SSD, but the issue persisted. After updating ASRock with the results, I was told to expect a response within two business days. It’s now been six days, and I haven’t received any update whatsoever.This lack of communication and troubleshooting support is deeply frustrating. As a loyal customer who chose ASRock in good faith, I expected a more responsible and proactive response. Sadly, this experience has made me question whether I can trust their products or support
