Patience is key
A little pricey but that is expected with this type of camera. Purchased to use as a Guestbook for a Graduation party. Worked great and our guest enjoyed it. Just need to be patient bc it can take a few minutes for photos to develop.

Not fresh but not expired. Good quality film for less.
Turned out great. I've read mixed reviews about film quality and age when buying from Amazon, but my order was excellent. The film package I received was 7 months since production, so still viable for use and not expired. These are several dollars cheaper than MSRP from the polaroid website, and I appreciated the fast shipping of prime. Film quality and age were good. I would upload more photos but I don't want my personal photo on Amazon.

Amazing photos when used correctly
Always remember Polaroid film is composed of so many chemicals and intricate details that make it so a photo can physically develop within a few minutes. When taken properly, amazing photos and memories can be taken. Apply the same ideas of average handheld phone photos to this. do not take pictures with the subject directly behind lighting, for example the sun directly behind them. Instead, take photos with the subject on the other side so the light is on them. Always take photos with the subject within an arms reach. If it’s a photo of a landscape, then obviously that rule doesn’t apply. Flash always on is recommend per Polaroid. Watching a video or two is very helpful. If we had known all these tips it would’ve helped us take better pictures. But once learning all this, our photos of our honeymoon came out dramatically better. Also had no issues with the quality of the film. Remember, handle the film and photos with extreme care for best results. A case for the camera and photos highly recommended.

Pricey compared to Fujifilm Instax
I like the camera, and enjoy having something very small to throw in my bag when traveling. The camera needs a case because the white body picks up stains, scuffs, dirt quickly. Be careful cleaning-- the selfie mirror's iridescent coating wipes off with windex. Compared to Fujifilm Instax, which my partner owns, more expensive per shot (so more expensive to get familiar with the camera). This film *does not* do well in heat. Visited Arches National Park, (105F/40.5C +), and was disappointed to find that the entire pack got too hot before the first snap. All the exposures were washed out and pink. Fujifilm Instax film in the same luggage, same storage conditions did not have the same issue-- photos were clear and crisp, not over exposed, not pink.Indoor exposures are soft but the photo develops nicely. Outdoor exposures are easy to accidentally flash the film, but pulling out the film inside a purse is an easy fix.

Expired Film
Beware. Expired film. I received this item today (6/2025) and the package said it was produced 4/2024. Polaroid’s recommendation is to use within 12 months of production. The photos did not print well and the quality is not good. No option to replace product either. Disappointed.

An improved Polaroid Instamatic for the Ages!
Like its predecessor; this Polaroid is one for the archive. It does not need a battery to operate! Which means you can literally take it out anytime and with several packs of film; you can save a lot of memories! I hope the owners of Polaroid will make the films more accessible than its predecessor.

Good quality
Love it! So worth it, I take so many pics and will continue to purchase! I do store it in the fridge like it says so that the film lasts a long time before I use it.
