Q: Is this case one piece or two?

Hi The case is one piece. It does not cover the phone's screen, you need a shield if you want that type of protection. The picture shows the front and the back of the one case. The camera hole is reversed in the second image.

Q: Is the case compatible with camera unit protectors? My current case covered the camera unit just enough that it would interfere with the protector

It’s compatible with camera protectors.

Q: Do I need to buy a separate zagg screen protector?

There is a kip that goes around that will ensure the screen isn’t touching a surface if you do put your phone screen down. However, I do always recommend screen protectors no matter the case you choose

Yes, but returned for otter box clear. Has more grip to it
