I have never seen hair gel like this in my life. First off it's navy blue and it stains anything it touches navy blue. Second, it smells from across the room. The seal was broken so please somebody correct me if this stuff is supposed to be clear and somebody put navy blue dye in mine but there is no way I am using this in my hair

4/5 stars. I find a HARD time finding freeze hair gel that lets my hair stay in place all day. This was a cheap and great alternative! Only thing stopping it from being 5 stars is the fragrance is a bit too much when applying - smells handsome but also a little musky. I also wish it had a little more shine. Dries a little mat but still looks freeze dried.

This is the worst hair product that I have ever purchased. The scent made me gag and it didn’t seem to provide much hold at all. It is also a very dark color which seemed to cast a weird shade on my light hair. Would not recommend.

I would not consider this as a "firm texture" gel BUT I do really like it.My personal preference may be different than yours so please read on to see if it would suit you.My regular gel when rubbed between my plams liquifiies and offers a firm hold that leaves my hair crunchy.I actually PRFEER the crunch as I think use an oil on top to break up the crunch and add shine and it gives me a firm but soft hold by using two products together.When I rub this gel between my hands it keeps its gel texture and is very sticky betwen my hands.I've tried using a little and I've tried using a lot and it never gets crunchy.It does hold my nautral curls but doesn't help to emphasize them.It also can make my hair a tiny bit frizzy even after I add a curling oil on top.I do need to use the oil on top with this gel or my hair gets frizzy on the ends.I have long naturally wavy hair and want a gel to emphasize and hold my curls without weighing down my fine hair and without creating frizziness.This gel gets points for:-holding my curls well (medium hold)- not weighing down my fine hair- looking natural- smellling fantastic (a bit strong but it DOES fade)- I can add more later to refresh my hair without any flakes or added heavinessWhere it loses points for MY preferences:- it doesn't emphasize my curls- it tends to make my ends frizzy and dry looking- it doesn't get crunchy - I like the crunchy wet lookI have been experimenting by trying this on wet hair and dry hair and using a little and using a lot and adding more later but it doesn't give me that FIRM set that I was hoping for.I was curious to try a more expensive brand of hair gel but surprisingly I like my cheap gel better for my hair type and style. It could work for you if your hair is shorter and you want a hold that looks natural.
