Good multi purpose torch - nightlight, torch and power failure light.
Nice light. Clear white nightlight gives off enough light to make it unnecessary to switch on main light if you need to get up during the night but it is still subdued enough to leave on all night. As a torch it gives off a fairly powerful light - good for its size. In addition you have the peace of mind in knowing that there will always be a light source easily available if there is a power failure.

A good handy torch
Very effective torch. When power fails it instantly switches to its lower power light. A push button lets you select from low power, high power (bright), and flashing bright. If you pull the torch out of its charging cradle it automatically lights up.The torch is light weight and appears well made.Another feature is an automatic night light, which can be switched off if not needed.

Bit of a dim product
Safer than a candle in case of power failure, but not as much light. This unit plugs in the mains and charges, if the powers cuts, the light comes on, or at night it works as a motion activated night light, or a dusk to dawn night light.Sounds great but in practise its very poor.2 banks of LED's but not super bright, as a torch it is next to useless, as a nightlight it is useful with motion detection, but it needs to be dark before it works, and I mean really dark with no other sources of light, and it does give a nice puddle of light that allows you limited vision. In my humble opinion, if you are looking a useable night light / work light / torch, don't buy this. If you are looking for a motion activated light that doesn't intrude and activate when its just dusk, this could fit, but better and cheaper are available

A fair effort
We live in a bungalow with a long central corridor, where the only natural light comes from daylights (small Windows) above the doors. On a night therefore, the light from the corridor lights spills into the bedrooms, disturbing sleep for those going to bed earliy. These seemed to be the perfect solution - the induction charging allows them to be swivelled to point down the corridor, rather than across it and they provide enough light for those going to bed later or using the bathroom during the night, without switching on the main lights. At first, the night lights were very bright and caused too much overspill through the fanlights, certainly too bright for use in a bedroom, in my opinion. One year on and the night lights seem to have lost a significant proportion of their brightness, so they would be ok for bedroom use but nearly too dim for their intended purpose of lighting the corridor, so I'll have to start looking for an alternative. The torch facility is handy too - no issues hunting through drawers in the dark if the power goes off.Just three stars because too bright at first and now getting too dim , I would have expected greater stability.

Not Robust Enough For Me......
We have this in our hall and although it does a decent job of lighting the area,it is not robust enough for our needs. As it does jut out a bit from the socket, its been more prone to getting knocked out to the holder (especially as we have 3 large dogs) and today, after only a few weeks its broken. The charging ring has broken away from the 3 pin housing and cannot be put back in.

Bright light
Gives off quite a bit of light considering its a night light. Have it in hall so it works well.

Good kit
still working well after 1st year, good kit. Unlike other similar units on Amazon, which all have failed after a few months (Ive got 3 models, all off Amazon sellers)
