You need to download an app. for this product's use but works well, only problem I've noticed is if there is poor cell service it does not work. However for my location it works perfectly.

The tracker works, but it won’t stop beeping, and the app that it uses to track your items uses a lot of Your batteries power on your phone. I have changed the batteries three times, it just won’t stop beeping, but on the upside it really works. I’m able to find my keys when I lose them.

I've been using these Bluetooth device finders for a while now and they are very helpful in locating items that are often misplaced around the house. I use these not only for keys but also for luggage when traveling - it's really cool to be able to get a location ping when my checked luggage finally makes its way to the carrousel!The app is very easy to install and if you ever purchase more of these location devices all you have to do is add them to your existing app. The battery lasts for quite a while and are inexpensive and easy to find on Amazon.I'm happy with all of my VEGA key finders and can recommend them.

I tried using this for my luggage to track it during a trip with multiple connections and it didn't track or update at all and I think someone may have even stolen it off the luggage during a connecting flight because by the time the luggage was collected from the airport carousel the metal clips used to attach it to the suitcase was still there but the device itself was removed. Incredibly disappointed because I wasted money for it to not work or track every step of the way as I would have been able to be notified of the position. Maybe better for keys but a waste for airline travel.

Not useful as thought- often get error messages to reinstall

I have 80% hearing loss. I use hearing aids. I put my.keys in a pants pocket and then the pants into the hamper. I then closed the hamper and the bathroom door. I pressed the app "Ring" and I could plainly hear the tone from insidey.pants pocket in the hamper, bathroom door closed and me twelve feet awaynwith my hearing aids in.Without my hearing aids I could hear the tone standing with the bathroom door opened, still in the hamper and about six feet away.

I purchased this device for two reasons. I had recently lost my keys while out riding my bike. I got lucky and found them retracing my septs but decided it might be useful to get some help if that happens again.This device seems to work fine for finding lost things.The other reason I wanted it was to remind me if I left my keys behind. I live on my sailboat and if I leave the dock without my keys I cant get back onto the dock without them.This device seems to be completely useless for that.I know how far I can get from my boat before I loose Bluetooth connectivity to things I left on the boat but I don't get alerted when I get that distance from my keys if I leave them on board.Once I told the app what it needed to access my wifi network it wont let me change it and the silent time settings feature does not allow me to sent 2200 hours to 800 hours. The instructions also say that they default setting should be similar to what I want but instead the default seems to be 2200 to 2300 hours which means that the silent time is between 10 and 11 at night. That's completely useless.A friend who has an apple air tag on his keys does not have this problem.
