Hero, Traitor, Daughter: Of Crowns and Glory, Book 6

The story line is entertaining and fast-paced, and initially the characters were captivating, but this author does not have a good grasp of character development and what that means in terms of personal choices of said characters. If you have a character you want readers to believe is honorable...than that character would not choose to leave his pregnant wife--someone who has just risked everything to save him--in a dangerous situation while he takes off after another woman...regardless of extenuating circumstances. An honorable man, does not leave his pregnant wife in a city being sacked by an enemy that will kill or enslave her...even if she is a back-stabbing bitch. The point is...once you establish the framework for a character, you have to make choices consistent with what that person would do in any given situation. I've noticed a number of instances like this throughout the series...immature characters...in word, deed, development..and for me personally, this is a detractor. Other than that...the story line is worth the read, and the pacing is page-turning.

This is a fast pace read however the later books in the series are priced out of sight 5.99 for a 181 page story would like to finish this series but this is nonsense

this was so exciting I found I could not stop. All the battles and holding my breath during it was the best. hoping that my favorite characters didn't die, that the main characters get to be together and wishing certain ones would just die. I am so in love with this series of books. You will not be disappointed.

This entire series is fast-paced and entertaining with enjoyable characters that can be annoyingly obtuse at times but you still root for them, evil or good. There is a lot of marvelous buckling of swashes and buckets of blood as well as devious plotting and general nastiness from some characters which is appreciated. I'm looking forward to the next in the series.

I had high hopes for this series based on the reviews. It isn't a total waste of time, but there are better books out there for sure. The first two books were pretty engaging and the characters just get dumber and dumber. I feel like there were strong character concepts initially, but through an obnoxiously back and forth plot line, they have lost their merit.

Morgan is one of my very very favs. She can take you away to a great story. The people in the books are so real sometimes I feel they are !!! Lol keep writing Morgan the world would b so boring without you.

I chose this rating because I feel that it is too long, I don't know why these authors have to write about the same characters that we already know inside out from the first four books. I very much like the story and all but it needs to end.

If you have held on this long in this series, this book continues but does not finish it. Similar pace to earlier books. Worth reading.

SpoilersIove this series don't get me wrong but I think some of the books could have been put together to make a larger book.I love that thanks wife got what she deserved but she'll be back I have that feeling. But the price of the last two books are more then I would of paid usually for short books and I think that should be addressed. But I think that there might not be a happy ending....

Stephania plots with every turn probably in her sleep too but her lies will trip her up in the end. How Morgan Rice does it is clever and a bit dark though but just. Ceres has lost her power but discovers she still has hidden reserves whilst Thanos fights his way through an invasion back to save her. Well worth a read even after Six books l can't wait for number Seven.

Once again another book i couldn't put down, the same with kings and Sorcerers and the Sorcerers Ring..All Fantastic Reads and eagerly waiting more publications from Morgan Rice.

Worth waiting for, thoroughly enjoyable yet again can't wait for next instalment to find the outcome of main characters and their fate

Morgan Rice is in my opinion excellent as a writer, I can't put the book down, and if a book does this to me then it has been written well.

As with the rest of the series, really well written and you can't put them down once you start. Love it.

Can't wait for the next instalment. On the edge of my seat and brilliant as always. Well done Morgan Rice.

Followed on to last book kept up the tempo
