Bargain multi-tool
The media could not be loaded. What a bargain, although not professional standard, as expected at its price point. Loads of features for the average DIYer. Multimeter, thermal tester, continuity tester, NCV feature and the very handy clamp meter, although not reliable readings for the pro uses to be fair.It really is a great little tool to have about the house.Recommended

Not a precision tool
This is a DIY tool and not suitable for professional use and that is reflected in the price point. It is reasonably accurate when using it with the probes but when using the clamp the readings are inconsistent. I measured the power to my meter where the cables are separated from each other and the readings could be up to 30% out. Oddly you need to look at the difference between the reading and then the reading when there is no current rather than having a zero button. I did like the capability of detecting power without having to clamp or connect the unit.

Versatile tool for the non-professionals bag
Build Quality:- Solid construction, portable design, and includes a handy storage pouch so bits don't get lost.Power:- Operates off 2 AAA batteries which are providedFunctionality: - Various manual and auto-ranging features, such as AC/DC voltage readings (up to 600V), AC current (up to 600A), resistance, diode testing, frequency, temperature (K-Type thermocouple), and continuity tests.Accuracy:- Reliable DC voltage, consistent AC line voltage, fairly accurate resistance, and sensitive non-contact voltage (NCV) detection.Display:- LCD backlit display with a flashlight for visibility in darker environments.Ease of Use:- Simple operation, making it suitable for beginners and DIY enthusiasts. Also offers responsive conductivity beeping and good probe quality. Note, the clamp function requires you to measure individual power lines, if you clamp both the live and neutral you will get a zero reading.Value for Money:- Budget-friendly option for those needing a versatile tool, packed with features such as a live wire test and frequency counter.Cons:Clamp Readings:- Inconsistent AC clamp readings, sometimes up to 25% off, making it less reliable for professional use.Suitability: Designed mainly for DIYers rather than professionals; lacks advanced features found in high-end models.Zero Functionality:- No dedicated zero button, requiring users to manually compare measurements with and without current.Conclusion:-The Proster Clamp Meter TRMS is a versatile and cost-effective multimeter for DIYers, hobbyists, and casual users. It excels in a variety of tasks such as AC/DC voltage measurements, temperature checks, and NCV detection, but falls short in professional-grade precision, particularly in clamp current measurements. Ideal for household electrical troubleshooting, this tool offers grood value for its price point and user-friendly design.

Simple to use with great features
I tested it with NCV function and it works well. It's easy to use for quick checks, and you don't have to touch any wires. The K-Type thermocouple was great for checking temperatures in my projects. I like how simple it is to use. It's perfect for beginners, but it has enough features for more experienced people too.
