What a seriously cool purchase

So I'm looking for top grade chewy gum like pebbles. Thinking what the heck when I first got it. So I tried it, kinda feels you're putting gravel in your mouth for a few minutes, lol then the difference comes in to play. It turns into a waxy piece and you do what it's designed for, chew. And chew. It's a cool experience. Yes helped in the chewing. But another expected surprise us how clean it makes my teeth feel afterwards. I wouldn't make it a habit but your are so clean from chewing on this, you really wouldn't have to brush. Flavor is not sweet or flavorful, it tastes like wax resin would taste. I think that it does somehow clean bad breath, like cleans your mouth, or maybe it is the saliva generated when chewing, I'm not a scientist or dentist. But it helps chewing, strengthening my jaw, with a weird flavor but not bad, neutral really, you can reuse it. I do it for about 20-39 minutes before bed or mud afto in lieu of Abad food craving, lol. Itt takes your focus off unnecessary snacking. My jaw had improved, my teeth fell extra clean after and it's a good time killer.

Tastes awful

I've tried and loved Underbrush Mastic Gum, so I thought this might be in that arena, but it this stuff literally tastes like depression, dirt and old dirty tree bark, with some ground pepper. It's very crunchy, and breaks apart like sand in the mouth until it forms the gum. And after 15 minutes, your mouth is akin to a dusty old coffin to the taste buds that were vehemently exterminated.Sadly, it's not eligible for returns, so it was a $9 experiment. If you're looking for a healthier gum, this may be it. If you're looking for a healthy gum that doesn't taste like your grandpa's sandal, this isn't it.

Excellent product

I use this in my Easter sweet bread. I could not find it locally anywhere. It smells amazing and gives my sweet bread (tsourekia) a great texture!! It was a little pricey. But worth it!!

Fairly decent, but melted when it came.

Okay, so I do get that it sat for two days at a facility that was 8-10 hours away from me. But it came melted, and I now am chopping it up with very sharp scissors.Next up is the taste, now the taste is pretty good, if you like earthy flavored things that is, it’s kind of a faint flavor, I am not sure, the faint flavor could have just been my batch or that it was melted could factor in to the flavoring. It is a great workout though for my jaws! I am loving that part so far.Packaging was good, it came in a bag with bubble wrap inside, as well as the item itself being wrapped in bubble wrap.Hope this review finds you well

Mastic Yum...Warm It Up!

First thing...warm it in your mouth before you bite down on it. Mild flavor. If you like chewing 'hard gum' then this is for you. I was worried that it would mess with my crowns and tried it with beeswax but it just fell apart and chewed into nothing. Tried with a piece of natural gum, same thing. So, I just decided to jump in and try it alone. WARM IT UP before biting down on it. Otherwise it will stick to your teeth in a bad way. I've been chewing it for a few days now. I like it. It sure gives your jaw a workout. I'm hoping that it will also help my tummy issues. Time will tell. I have chewed it and set it aside for later and it was fine...gotta let it warm up again. Chewed it while having my coffee, it gets softer for a couple of seconds. Chewed it while having room temperature water and it got hard again for a couple of seconds(let it warm up again!) Oh, in case I forgot to mention...let it sit on your tongue for 10 seconds to Warm It Up.

An enjoyable workout

This is my first time using mastic gum for an oral fixation in favor of sugary candy. I was worried about the flavor, but it’s a light, floral kind of amber flavor that doesn’t bother me at all. After a short chewing session, my jaw is tired, so I feel like I’ve actually done some work besides opening the snack drawer! Recommend.

OK but Broken Jar and unable to return for refund

When received, the jar lid was broken, but this appeared to have happened in transit and it was in a sealed bag. I asked and was advised no returns, so I decided to go ahead and try this gum. The size of the jar is very tiny (like a quarter size around and maybe 1.5 inches tall).....and so are the pieces of gum, but it is packed full of them. I like that it looks like tree sap and I am convinced that this is a totally natural product. As others have said, you will need several pieces and will need to roll them around in your mouth and keep them covered with saliva for about 5 minutes or more. Then, what I did was to lightly bite down, little by little while continuing to roll the pieces around in my mouth until it softened up enough to chew. The taste is very mild and to me, not bad at all, relatively tasteless. Once softened, it is not at all hard to chew. When I got tired of it, I decided to see if I could keep that piece and reuse it. Yes I could, but strangely, the wad seemed to break apart in my mouth and I had to go through the process above all over again. Since this is my only experience with this type of gum, I am not sure how to rate it.
