Received antenna only, no USB device... Returning product...

This is a great little U-Blox compatable adapter! It came packaged extremely well and professionaly. This works great with it’s own built-in antenna and even better with the added antenna, but still perfectly usuable without it for those worried about weight. While this device works perfect it's not going to be for a total newbie to this.I have a few hints to get this to work for some people that may be having trouble.After pluging this into your USB port, right click the start button in windows and click device manager, look under “Ports (COM & LPT)”, if you do not see “USB Serial Device” with a COM number you will have to search around the device manager for “UBLOX Device”, once you have found that, click on it and click on “Roll Back Driver”, after that you should now see a COM Device in “Ports (COM & LPT)”.Now in U-center, Click, “View”, “Confiruration View”, next click on “CFG Configuration”, in that window click “Revert to defaut configuration”, now click the “SEND” icon on the bottom left of the window then close the window. In the toolbar at the top of your screen, click the dropdown portion of the 2nd icon on the 2nd row, ( it looks like a down arrow next to a square waveform, select 9’600. Next click the down arrow of the 1st icon in the 2nd row, select the COM port your GPS is connected to and within a minute or two you should start getting some readings.Good luck in your projects! Purchased the GPS to see where my dog was going. Built a little harness for it, added a battery and SD Card and it worked like a champ. I think it works so well for us because of the antenna. Very handy module and now we know where she goes when she is out in the woods. Highly recommend the module for getting GPS data with no fuss.
