If it’s a go, then the DAXTROMN battery seems to be a quality product and since recently installed (11/20/18), my replaced DAXTROMN battery is performing as a new battery should.The advice was serious, think of this job as getting close to the scale of watch repair and avail yourself of a jeweler's magnifying hood.So, can you do this? Come on we all have a little Wilkins or Wilma in us. Don’t we mate?By the way, I’m 80, dealing with PD and the tank round and jungle escape to BH and so much more, all just a walk down memory lane..

First impression one week: Worthless purchase! I charged the phone per factory recommendations, and lucky if the battery holds 4 hours.Now....2 weeks later, the battery is staying charged for 18 hours! Giving credit, where credit is due....Thank you, Daxtromn, for your quick response!

I was quite hesitant to try to replace the battery in my wife's 5s on my own, after reading horror stories of smoke and flames. In this particular case, the battery was not only dying quickly, there was also evidence that it was starting to swell. What's a little more risk, right?So I made sure to drain the battery and then let it sit for a few hours. I took appropriate precautions (did this in my garage with good ventilation, chemical goggles, nitrile gloves, and water and a fire extinguisher on hand ...just in case) and felt pretty confident that I wouldn't end up on the news.The replacement took a little while longer, but wasn't particularly difficult after following some videos on youtube. The one challenge I did have was in removing the old battery. The adhesive strips didn't want to come up, and the battery wasn't very rigid, so it took a long time and I ended up piercing through the outside layer of the battery (good thing it was completely discharged!). After completing the install, the phone started up and works just fine. Battery life is like a brand new phone, though I will update this if that changes any time soon.After doing this install, I feel pretty confident that I could competently do that again or to another phone, given a similar kit and instructions. However, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone I don't personally know, who would follow all safety precautions. Playing around with these types of batteries is inherently dangerous.

Battery was well packed, shipped quickly, and worked as intended. Noticeable difference in how much longer the phone holds a charge now. The screen protectors were a nice added bonus - thanks for the nice surprise! Would definitely order from this seller again.

The replacement battery works great, shows 100% battery life, and peak performance enabled on the phone.The long term performance of the battery remains to be seen but thus far everything appears to be working very well and the phone took a couple of normal charge cycles so all is well thus far.Will update the review as needed.
