Wheels Manufacturing Loose Ball Bearings (3/16-Inch Tub of 25)

I used these to repack my front wheel hub. Worked well and much smoother than the old bearings. 3/16 is standard size for front loose bearing hubs. I believe the back wheel has larger bearings.

I used these bearings to rebuild a Sturmey-Archer 3-speed AW hub on my 1974 Schwinn Speedster. The AW hub I have takes 24 loose bearings for the ball cup. A huge upgrade in terms of smoothness and ride-ability after installing new bearings.

Nice idea, those add-ons for Amazon Prime members. I got the 1/4 inch bearings a few months ago and decided to order the 3/16 for my front wheel overhaul... aside, it's always useful to have extra ball bearings around if you service your bike yourself. The quality seems to be better than average bulk stuff; time will tell.

what can you say? they were well made. used them in a new bicycle wheel.i learned later that a local bike shop sells the same tub of 25 bearings for 1/2 the price.amazon "prime" does not necessarily mean "free" shipping!!but it's okay. they arrived quickly and i got my bike on the road.

Let's be honest, these are ball bearings. They are ball bearings for a bicycle. I'm not building a particle collider here, I'm repacking a bicycle hub. This was much cheaper than driving the 60 miles to town with a decent bike shop and buying the right number of bearings from them directly.

After taking the bearings out of my front hub and placing them in a container, only to have that container knocked over and have the bearing spill all over my garage, I purchased these. They work perfectly, and I notice no difference from my original bearings.

Great lol been looking for loose bearings forever!!! only downside about is instead of 25 balls i got 15, but its ok for price cant complain too much, but ya only thing needa work on is actual count :) THX

Wanted to replace my BBs because I was replacing the Cone nuts on my wheel. These were a good price.
