The pack arrived well packaged and in new condition. I charged up the batteries and installed the grip. It worked perfectly. I spent all the next day taking action shots at an event and it was a perfect addition to the camera. The batteries lasted all day through hundreds of shots, the grip is comfortable and only adds to the overall look and feel of the camera.

Great addition of extra batteries and balance when using flashes as well.

Definitely love the extra battery life and how perfect it feels in my hands. Thought the wire would aggravate me at 1st but now I don't even notice it!

Had to push it in solidly to get the threads to engage. Inserting it at what you would think feels like normal pressure, the thread would just barely catch, then pop out, snug up, pop out. And the pack wouldn't make contact inside the battery compartment. Was unable to get it firmly tightened to the body. A little more exuberant force, the threads fully engaged, and tightened down nice and firm, no contact issues. I would suggest a couple extra threads (longer spindle) to allow the battery pack to pull itself into the camera. I was ready to return till I got it in good.Articulating screen on back of camera body hits the battery grip on the lower left corner. If you tilt the screen while opening, it will clear, but someone not paying attention and opening quickly may wind up breaking the hinge the screen is on. Beware.With that said, overall, looks nice, not sure on battery discharge, as I just got it. I do astrophotography, with a lot of long exposures, so it eats up my single battery quickly. Hoping this will alleviate the issue. Look forward to getting a night out with it testing it out. I may just need to see if I can find some higher rates batteries.Good purchase, came to me in timely manner. Will amend review after I get a chance to use it.

The way the camera grip works, to my understanding (correct me if I'm wrong), is that it will cycle through the two loaded batteries as they discharge. I loaded the camera grip with fully charged batteries and it seems both batteries are discharging at the same time. I haven't used it in the field yet and have used the camera to adjust the settings and take a few testing shots. I am past the return period but would like to hear from the seller as to why this is happening. Can't recommend until this is cleared up.

I do have a minute gap that I CAN'T GET TO GO AWAY! This is the reason for the 4 rating. I'll return to re-evaluatre the battery after a good run. I gave a 4 because they charged with no issue and the screen showed a full charge. I do wish it would show both batteries, but I know that technology would rase the price quite a bit. I use the Nikon D5600 and this thing works flawlessly so far. The vertical button is right where it needs to be. My finger naturally fell in place right on top of it. Love the item so far and the vendor responded to all my questions without fail. Really seems to value his customer. I highly recommend due to the price and service! Y"ou will not be disappointed!

Fits perfectly and works well, but the battery tray is a bit flimsy. Still great value!
