Reliable Powerhouse – Perfect for Hurricane Preparedness!
I purchased the Westinghouse 12,500-Watt Dual Fuel Generator for hurricane preparedness here in Florida, and it was a lifesaver during Hurricane Milton. Our home is 3,000 sq. ft., and this generator handled everything we needed with no issues.🔹 Performance & PowerWe ran the generator on both gasoline and propane, and it performed beautifully on both fuels. On gas, we were able to power our refrigerator, freezer, lights, multiple fans, and even a portable AC without a hitch. It kept everything running smoothly without surging or struggling.🔹 Easy Setup & OperationThe remote electric start is a game-changer! No need to go outside in the storm to manually start it—it fired up effortlessly with the remote. The transfer switch-ready feature made connecting it to our home a breeze.🔹 Fuel Efficiency & Run TimeWe ran it for over 12 hours on a single tank of gas, which was impressive considering the load. Propane lasted a bit longer but provided slightly less power output (which is expected). Having the dual-fuel option was great for flexibility.🔹 Durability & Build QualityThis generator is solidly built and heavy, but the wheels and handle make it manageable. It held up incredibly well during extended use and showed no signs of overheating or wear.🔹 Noise LevelFor its size, the noise level was reasonable—not whisper-quiet, but not overly loud either. It was about what you’d expect from a generator this powerful, but placing it at a reasonable distance helped.🔹 Final ThoughtsIf you live in a hurricane-prone area and need a reliable backup power source, this Westinghouse 12,500W generator is worth every penny. It kept our home running without worry, and I highly recommend it for anyone needing a strong, dependable generator for emergency power.✅ Pros:✔ Powerful enough for a large home✔ Dual fuel (gasoline & propane)✔ Remote start is super convenient✔ Long runtime & fuel efficiency✔ Transfer switch ready❌ Cons:✖ Heavy (but manageable with wheels)✖ A bit noisy, but expected for its sizeOverall, this is a 5-star purchase for anyone looking for a dependable home backup generator! The BEST purchase we have ever had and we need this for the frequent hurricanes in Florida

Worth the purchase
I purchased a Westinghouse generator to power my home during hurricane season, and I couldn't be more impressed. From the start, setup was incredibly easy. One of my favorite features is the remote start, which adds so much convenience, especially during storms when you don’t want to be outside.I ran a test to see how it would perform under load, and it powered the entire house without any issues. It exceeded all my expectations in terms of performance and reliability.Honestly, I have nothing negative to say about this generator. It’s a solid, dependable machine and gives great peace of mind during storm season. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable backup power solution.

Good product but shipping wasn’t that great
Very easy to set up and seems to start easily and run well. I didn’t care for the oil that came with it, because the way it was packaged, the oil quart got smashed and oil ended up all over everything. I’m sure some very easy packaging change could have prevented that. Or a stronger oil bottle than the typical kind. I don’t know but I didn’t appreciate having to clean oil off of each part before set up. Aside from the oil spilling everywhere, this seems like a very good product and it started right up after I got some new oil and gas. The dual fuel source is nice, and the battery and watts are enough to last several hours.

Great generator at a great price!
Got the generator and setting it up was super easy. Comparing it to my older generator, the features are nice! Having electric start and remote start is fantastic for easy start up after a storm and having the ability to run on propane as well was a huge selling point. Very happy to recommend this to anyone else!

Easy To Use: Easy To Start
This dual-fuel generator was very easy to assemble and easy to move around with the pull handles. I was amazed at how easy it was to start, with the push button and the pull start. It also has a remote fob that works great from inside the house. With 12500 watts of starting power and 9500 watts of running power it is perfect to run most of my appliances during a hurricane. It was a great value for the money.
