Looks great, easy to use, even for a novice
First time I've used this (or any other jointing compound). The bucket is really heavy (for an old girl like me) so be careful. I jet washed all the old loose mortar out of my patio and made sure to wet the area I was working on. Inside the bucket are two sealed packs - once you open one, it says you can keep it fresh for up to a month if it's under water. Easy to get into the joints. My patio is italian sandstone so the gaps vary from about 5mm wide to about an inch and it worked well on all. You could brush it in, but for longevity, you do need to compact it well into the joints then gently rinse off any residue on the surface. Hasn't left any stains. Looks good so far but it will take me a while to complete.

Good Product - Lousy Packaging and Delivery
This review is in two bits. The product and the supplier/delivery.I've used this product a number of times and it's considerably easier to use than cement based mortar joints albeit considerably more expensive. The main benefits are that you can use it in the wet - on fact it needs to be be wet to work, it cleans up well without sticking too much to the paving slabs and the speed of use is fast thus saving valuable time.I find that it takes two or three uses of a pointing tool to get it packed down hard enough to make a solid job. If you don't do this then jet washing can blow it out or at least partially blow it out.Setting time is temperature dependent. I don't use it below 10C because it takes a few days to go off. However above that then it's hard within a couple of days.Where I do get problems is when there are trees around because the spores tend to stick to the compound and it goes dark pretty quickly, hence the need to clean it a couple of times a year.Overall, a simple solution to grouting. Now, the bad which is the delivery and packaging. I bought this from Amazon but it was a 3rd party seller. No issues there but they were badly packaged and when they arrived I put them aside not noticing that the heavy handed delivery company had knocked one so badly the box was damaged. Which was pretty easy to do because the supplier hadn't packaged them well.Unfortunately, that knock had also damaged the inner pack thus exposing the product to air and thus when I got to use one of the units it was already hard. Too late to make a complaint unfortunately because I never checked on delivery.

Really easy to use, and sets well
This grout is really easy to use and it set quickly and well, no mixing or stirring was necessary. We kept it really wet, and found that to put water in the bag as soon as we opened it, not just when it had been open for an hour (as advised) helped it stick and set well. We did our best to keep it in the paving joins and it's advisable to wipe any excess off the pavings or it will stick to the surface. Would use it again if necessary and would recommend.

Good product and good company
Great product, really easy to do and looks great. The company were really good with communication, especially when one pack had not arrived but it was just delivered a day later, which was planned I just missed the note. Fast delivery too - faster than expected.

It’s ok
Easy to use, looks ok so far. Shame there were a couple of fist size lumps set solid in the 2nd bag I opened. May look to get a different brand next time. Arrived a day early so that was a bonus.

Easy to use but a slightly grainy finish
This is a great option for anyone looking to refresh their patio or paving without breaking the bank hiring a professional. The sand-like consistency (it's a bit like moonsand) is easy to work with, and it sets quickly, even in damp conditions. However, be prepared to put in extra effort to achieve a smooth finish, as the texture can be a bit grainy. Overall, I'm pleased with the result.Pros:- Easy to use, especially for DIY novices.- The texture makes application straightforward.- Cost-effective compared to professional repointing.- Dries quickly and effectively.Cons:- Can be difficult to distinguish between treated and untreated areas during application- Achieving a perfectly smooth finish requires extra effort.- The grainy texture might not be aesthetically pleasing to everyone.I appreciated the clear instructions provided. While a trowel and brush aren't mandatory, they definitely make the job easier.

Sika Fastfix
Good product that has set well around the paving stones. As with previous reviews you will need more than the manufacturer tends to state. I used it on paving stones that are approx 450mmx450mm, gaps between 5 - 10mm and a depth of 25mm (bit more in some places). Had to spend quite a while cleaning out all of the old cement and the debris that had built up where the old pointing was missing. The product was packed down well (used a piece of feather board to get properly into the gaps) and finished of with a pointing tool. Consequently I was using one bag (two bags in each tub) for every 17-18 paving stones. Quite a bit more than that recommended by the manufacturer however the results are good and looks far better than a sand/cement mix with the added benefit of a choice of colours. Will be using again.
