Great product
This lotion bar smells great and is silky. It's perfect for travelling. This is extreme moisture, which I absolutely need. It soaks in right away and does not leave a sticky or peeling residue. That being said- this is a heavy lotion. I have alligator skin and horrible cuticles. I have used so many lotions, creams, and ointments and cannot stand being sticky! I use this all day long but maybe bedtime is best for skin that is in better shape. It is a bar so it it different. Think oversized Chapstick. It needs some warming between your hands if it's cold and it doesn't rub in quite like a regular lotion if it is cold but my hands haven't looked this good in a while. It's pricey but it takes a long time to use a bar so it may be cheaper than a good name brand lotion (without all those chemicals) if you do the math. It's lightly perfumed, it's not overwhelming and others comment on how nice it smells when they catch me using it. Lovely product!

Get these
I have been a nurse for 30 some years now and have never found a better hand rescue product. Especially now as we are using hand sanitizer nearly constantly, my hands are suffering greatly. Bring on the Bee Bar! There are many scents, and even unscented, that all work the same. Rub it around on your hands and it absolutely saves your skin. Knuckles red and cracked from dry winter? Bleeding and sore from too much sanitizer use? Hands look older than you are? GET one of these....just do it. You won't be sorry. Not at all the same as any other bees wax products, this is much much better. Your hands will thank you.

Good if you need to reduce liquids for travel
I purchased this as an alternative to traveling with a bottle of lotion. It does work as a moisturizer, however it is waxy and doesn't soak into your skin well. It mostly just sits on top of your skin. This would probably be great for creating a moisture barrier after you actually moisturized with a good lotion. The scent is nice, albeit quite strong. It leaves a waxy residue on your skin for a while. I prefer lotion.

I would dip my body in this product if I could!!!!!!!!!!
I get dry skin, very often and my hands look old for their age. I received this today and my goodness the smell is absolutely heavenly. I keep smelling my hands. It is a tiny amount and based off of my initial reaction I will use this up quickly just for the scent alone. The product is amazing. I compared it to some products available at a local place. This is by far much better quality. If I had a huge bar of this I would use it instead of lotion. It goes on smooth and soft and like I said smells absolutely heavenly

Exactly what I hoped for
The bar was a little hard, and I had to really press down to get lotion to deposit on my skin. That being said, it IS winter so it doesn't surprise me that its solid. Also, this means I can throw it in my purse (or knitting bag, which is what I got it for) and I dont have to worry about it leaking or spilling on things. Goes on a tad greasy, but give it a couple minutes to be absorbed and you're good to go. I am quite happy with it.

Not what I expected
I expected the bar would be more creamy. It’s difficult to use, as it doesn’t just glide across your skin. It’s like trying to rub a candle on your body - it tugs and pulls. It doesn’t “warm up” and get softer with friction. I was hoping for something that would save me time, and would be quicker than applying lotion. Maybe all lotion bars are like this - I don’t know, because this is my first time trying, but I would not buy this brand again.

Vanilla Bee Scent is Quite Strong
I was looking for a bar lotion to keep in my bag for airplane travel and less potential mess in my purse. If you are new to bar lotion, it takes a little getting used to, but it works really well for dry elbows and for my travel needs. The Vanilla Bee scent is quite strong, so I actually wouldn't take this one on a plane as it might annoy other passengers in such a confined space. I will be trying the unscented one next. The tin it comes in is nice and the size is very convenient for slipping in a small purse or pocket.

Camping in cold weather always led to painful cracked cuticles
Camping in cold weather always led to painful cracked cuticles. Tried a variety of hand lotions and nothing could prevent it until I discovered this wonderful bar in a small shop in Jackson, Wyoming about 3 years ago. I just warm up the bar in my hands and coat my fingers every night before diving into my sleeping bag. No more cracked fingertips. I take this easy-to-pack bee bar on all of my trips. I take it on the airplane and don't have to worry about spillage. After 3 years, my Wyoming bar was used up to the size of a quarter. Happy to find it on Amazon. I love the vanilla scent.
