I’m trying to grow my hair back so I am investing in a lot of scrunchies. I have very thin, fine hair so I was hoping these would be super puffy to make my hair look thick or hide the tiny little nub I have as a ponytail since it’s so short right now. The fabric is OK, the size is large but not as poofy as I was hoping for, but the colors in the blue tones are absolutely gorgeous especially for summertime and cut off shorts. They do fit and hold my thin hair great.

I’m very picky when it comes to buying anything for my hair. I’m biracial (AA & C), and my hair is super thick and curly. When I read reviews for products, and other people say they also have thick & curly hair, I’m always skeptical bc I just KNOW their hair is not as thick & curly as mine lol. Unless they upload a photo with their review, I’m always skeptical. But I took a chance with these scrunchies and I’m SO glad I did. I am 31 years old, and I have never been so ecstatic about a dang scrunchie. But these are seriously the holy grail of scrunchies. They’re so stretchy that I can actually wrap them twice around my hair for a firm fit without getting a headache from being too tight. But I can also slip one on for a “loose” pineapple when I sleep and it stays put better than my smaller, less stretchy scrunchies even without wrapping it around a second time. It’s the Mary Poppins of scrunchies!

First of all, I’ve only had these hair scrunchies for one day. But I absolutely love them so far!! I slept with my hair piled up with one of these scrunchies last night, and I woke up with the scrunchie in place. Normally, I find them in the bed, as I toss and turn them completely out of my hair and onto the pillow. They have a firm hold yet, You don’t have to tie your hair super tight to get that gripping action! Other hair ties pull my hair, I can feel tension areas on my scalp when I use them, these do not!
