Nice strop but should have a swivel connector.

For my purposes it's OK. My Outdoors Bushcraft Knife will now slice a piece of paper- that's good enough for me, I happened to have some polishing compound on hand.I much prefer this type of strop to the paddle type. For me, it's much faster and convenient.That said, I'm getting tired of this "leather" charade. In the future, I will be much more carefull when purchasing so-called leather.You might be better off purchasing a thrift store full grain leather belt.I feel a little exploited using this product, which is probably some type of bonded leather made from scraps off the floor and glue.

Leather is thick and should last.

Very good for moving the rough edge on my straight razor not the highest quality, but it does the job

Good quality, and material just need to learn how to use to sharpen my straight razor.

I use this on my straight razor in between honings. I can tell it's not as nice as a lot of strops out there, but it works just fine. I can tell a difference between a shave if I forget to strop and when I remember. I think you're only supposed to strop on the suedelike leather side and not the other but I'm not 100% on that. I just use the suede side. I'll probably upgrade to a nicer strop one day, but when I do I'll still keep this one for kitchen knives and such. Again for the money, it's a good buy and I'd recommend. If it was more than $15 or so I may not say as nice of things about it since it's getting closer to other comparably priced products that are better.
