Very happy with this purchase. We bought this to hold a 20 lb bag of rice, and it did that with room to spare! The controls are no-frills, just push a mechanical button and the rice free flows into the provided strainer. It was a little tricky to put together: the pieces press-fit together tightly, and I thought I wasn't going to be able to get them on. Thankfully it just took more pressure than expected. But it does mean the whole thing can be moved around the kitchen without coming apart, which is a plus. The lid seals tight enough to keep out bugs. The plastic is decent quality, nothing came warped or bent. It is very light before filling. I like the window in the front. My one thing is that I wish the cup had clearer markings, I may look for an alternative there. It does not appear that you could stack multiples of this item together, there is not much of a lip underneath, but with 20 lbs of rice in it, I would not want to; it is quite tall and could tip over. It sits very nicely on a counter or deep shelf.Overall very pleased, I have had one of these devices on my wishlist for a long time and this is the one that was recommended to me. I would recommend to others who buy large quantities of rice and use it frequently.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:My sister has a 20 lbs the one and it doesn’t seal correctly and there’s just issues all around and the one I purchased which is the one in the image and listed above is a 25 pounds. It was a little difficult to put together, but it is sealed, and it even has rubber gasket on the lid. I think I got a better bank for my buck than my sister and I would recommend this product.

I make fresh dog food each week for my Great Danes, so purchase rice in 25 pound bags every 2 weeks…this easily hold a 25 lb bag and the push button dispensing has made my life so much easier for measuring. It keeps the rice fresh, but the lid easily pops loose. It is made to be used inside a pantry rather than say in a garage for storage. It is lightweight, which is nice for filling and then moving into the pantry.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Not as sturdy hard plastic but it holds all my rice that comes in a 25lbs bag. I'd choose the other rice dispenser I bought over this one just because the other one feels so much more sturdier and more aesthetically pleasing but it only held 20lbs so I bought this brand and style. The rice also leaks out a bit when you bump it but keeping this one since I don't like having left over rice in a bag and would rather fit everything in a container.

This is an amazing kitchen idea! I’ve had bags of rice in the pantry taking up awkward space and not staying closed-which led to unwanted critters discovering it. With this dispenser, I poured in a 25-pound bag of rice and it fit absolutely perfectly. No more awkward bags of rice! This dispenser sits on the shelf and since it’s narrow, other pantry items can be placed both on top of it and next to it. Finally a truly organized pantry.

As a family that eats a lot of rice, this was a perfect fit for our household, as it perfectly seals the rice and keeps anything from getting into the container itself, thereby avoiding any smells or contamination. While it has a stackable design, we have personally only used it on our rolling storage shelf in the kitchen. While it is a cute design and I love the colors, the most important part is the quality, since it is very easy to clean and holds over a 15 lb bag of sushi rice.
