The appropriate gear fluid for the rear axle of a BMW E92 N52, and Liqui Moly is an excellent brand.Make sure you warm the fluid before replacing it by running the car a bit; balance the car and suck the old fluid as much as possible.Fill in until it starts to overflow

There extending nozzle was a welcome addition.
German stuff the bottles have an extending nozzle you can bend to get into the did or gearbox fill plugs.
