Amazing weapon for stump removal
This worked amazingly well for pulling up bush stumps. I wrapped a chain twice round the stump, connected it to the lower jaw with a D ring, tied off the top of the jack to a post (to counteract the jack being pulled forward) and cranked. It worked perfectly! Removed 5 bushes in very short time.To be fair, it is still a fairly physical undertaking as the jack is heavy and it is lugging around items/plants of weight. But soooo much easier than digging them out.

A Farm Jack That Gets the Job Done
recently added a Farm Jack to my collection of tools, and it has quickly become an essential part of my farming and outdoor equipment. This rugged and versatile tool has exceeded my expectations in every way, and here's why I believe it deserves a five-star review:1. Exceptional Build Quality: The Farm Jack I purchased feels incredibly sturdy and well-built. It's clear that this tool is designed to withstand the toughest challenges on the farm. Whether I'm lifting heavy machinery, pulling out tree stumps, or performing other demanding tasks, it never falters. I have complete confidence in its durability.2. Powerful Lifting Capacity: What truly sets this Farm Jack apart is its remarkable lifting capacity. It effortlessly lifts heavy loads with minimal effort on my part, making tasks like changing a tractor tire or repositioning equipment an absolute breeze. Its lifting power is a game-changer when I'm working alone and need to tackle challenging projects.3. Versatility: This Farm Jack is a true workhorse that can handle a wide range of tasks. From lifting, clamping, spreading, and winching, it's a multi-purpose tool that simplifies my farm work. I appreciate its versatility and how it can replace several other tools in my inventory.

Hardcore farm jack with countless uses, but with a few quality issues.
Previously I spent 4 hours digging out decades old fencing iron stakes, now I can remove 4 stakes in an hour! This tool's great and I wish I'd bought one sooner as I've a fairly large garden with all sorts of posts, stakes and stumps to remove.Full disclosure: This particular model is a little roughly made, but it appears extremely strong and seems to be constructed from quality steel (that doesn't easily bend etc.). With care and considered use I think it will provide many years of service. When the farm jack arrived the upper red teeth (or nose), a bolt and a nut were rattling around inside the box (which had a hole punched in it) and a washer was under the box on the front door step. I think the part should have come pre-installed, but the red painted teeth wouldn't fit into the black vertical bar without a little work with a dremel and a metal file. Once the metal part was ready to fit I then had to paint it and use a penny washer to install it all suitably.Next the handle was wedged closed and needed pulling with extreme force to release. Then, following a little use, the nyloc lock nut that the handle pivots on started coming undone, so the handle wouldn't wedge closed. If it was wedged closed it would scrape the inside of the handle, making the steel plate slightly thinner over time and that bit weaker. So I filed the part that scraped just a little and tightened the nut and bolt so the handle operated better, doesn't scrape when pushed closed and stays closed when the tool isn't being used. But once the issues were resolved (and I'm guessing many farm jacks will arrive having been better made than mine was) it has proven itself to be an extremely useful and capable tool. I'm very glad to add it to my garden tool collection.

Farm Jack
Great tool and excellent price. It can lift heavy vehicles to undertake repairs, but in addition, of you want to get conifer roots (the sawn off stump)( out of the ground - this is the tool to do it. 'Moat' around the stump and axe through the holding roots, and then get this Jack underneath the stump and away to go.

not safe
used the product for the first time after I bought it about two months ago.product appeared second had as it came with loads of scratches and used marks. handle would not move so had to force it downjacks up nicely but mid way through when I switched to lower down it had absolutely zero traction and I almost got seriously injured.will scrap it immediately as return window probably gone. This product should be removed from Amazon for safety reasons.

Perfect for removing stumps
The media could not be loaded. 10/10 product!I removed about 18ft of privet bushes from my back garden, leaving just the stumps to remove. I look at a number of options including, grinding, digging and chemicals. I ended up choosing the jack method based on YouTube videos.I have to say that this jack is perfect for removing stumps. It arrived in a cardboard box with reasonable packaging. The head jaw bolt was a little loose, so I had to tighten it before it. Other than that it was ready to go. The instruction are handy and will get you going. Word to the wise, watch you hands when using the jack.I used a 2m x 8mm chain from ScrewFix with some D-shackles to a wrap the bottom of the stump and attach it to the bottom jaw of the jack. The jack has a tendency to lean when pulling stumps, either wedging it or pulling it back will work. When cutting the bushes leave some length on the stump so there's something for the chain to grab.Very happy to add this jack to my tool box! Very well constructed, you can tell it's going to last a lifetime if well cared for.
