While this was originally designed to be a selfie stick, which by the way… it does an excellent job at, it also serves a purpose as an instant self defense stick. While I was traveling through south london… I was surrounded by a group of youths… yes YOUTHES, and in that instant my mind thought “oh no this is the day you meet your maker, and all you did today was take selfies” but then it hit me… use the selfie stick for self defense, it is strong… well built, easy to open up and long enough to keep my enemies at bay, and so began the quarrel, I parried, jumped, struck and parried again… during the 3 minute ensemble - I felt like a Jedi Knight on genosis right in the middle of battle with duku’s droid army. Anywho I’m getting side tracked… this is a great product if you just need a high quality light weight travel tripod/ selfie stick for your iPhone. It’s really great.

Pros:1. Compacts down nicely2. Easy to setup and take down3. 60 inches is a good height for majority of photos4. Camera remote is great and works long distancesCons:1. Tripod legs are not sturdy enough for slightly windy days2. The phone holder has notched vertical angles, meaning if you want to aim the phone at a very specific angle, it wont let you know. It only has like 5 different angles so sometimes it would cut off my feet or it would have too much room. WIsh it was an adjustable one where you can aim it anywhere you want.Overall:- It is a great selfie tripod and it helped us take some AMAZING pictures on our trip. However, Since it is large enough where you do need a bag to hold it, personally I am going to upgrade to something slightly bigger that has longer tripod legs for stability. For 80% of the population, this will work great.

I really wanted a tripod that was easy to store when I wasn't using it. This is exactly that, but it does come with its own trade-offs. You can extend it really tall, which is helpful but at that height, it's really unstable. Tapping settings on your phone will have the tripod wobbling back-and-forth and usually have to wait a couple of seconds for it to stop moving before you record. Also, the phone mount is suited for most sizes of phones. But at least on my iPhone, the button placement made this claw type amount really hard to use. No matter which way I would put it in the holder would be pressing down some of the buttons, which would make it really difficult to record.

I like this Selfie Stick. I've used it for a while now and I give it a great rating. It is a joy yo use. It is almost a commodity to buy anything these days that you feel you got your moneys worth, but this is one of those that I feel very good about. Buy it if you need a selfie stick.

Perfect for using as a tripod or a selfie stick. I love mine. It's perfect for making videos and taking pics.
