Works well and is durable
It's basically two layers ‐ foam and fibre.Activated carbon layer seems to be black net only and it, along with white mesh at the top and bottom seems to hold the structure together rather than providing any biological/mechanical filtration. So the total layers come to be 6.It works well and is durable. I've been using it for about 3 months with once a week cleaning and it's still usable. But, without any activated carbon, its price could have been lower.

VERY POOR QUALITY
THE SPONGE IS COMING LAYER BY LAYER, AND LAYERS ARE GETTING SEPARATED ITSELF, DONT BELIEVE BY VIDEOS, POOR QUALITY, AND I AM UPSET WITH IT, IF WASHED IT WILL GET DISTORTED BY LAYERS, -VE QUAlITY
