Just the right size.
Just the right size for my needs. I am 74 years old and can no longer bring the large generator from my shop when storms take out power here in Florida. The 47-pound weight allows me to put the generator in my lawn mower cart and bring it to the house. I can run the refrigerator and some electronics and lights.

Easy to start and quiet!
Bought this unit after losing power for nearly a week. A neighbor loan me his extra 2000W generator that saved the food in our refrigerator during the outage.I am using the 2800W to power my workshop tools. It usually starts on the first or second pull of the starter cord. It is quiet, especially in eco mode. It powers all my wood shop tools, except for the large table saw. Used it also to recharge phones and laptop and the primary purpose, to run refrigerators, if and when there is an outage.The Westinghouse igen2800 will definitely come in handy when we replace the porch floor in our cabin.

Great product endless applications in the home farm or camp. Camping working emergencies you name it the Westinghouse igen2800 inverter generator can handle it. One pull very quiet takes no time at all to get started on whatever. Also has built in 2.1 amp USB ports. Super easy to move built in pads on the feet make vibration no problem at all.

Easy operation
Just unboxed and tested for 20 minutes but super easy and quiet and lots of power. I opted to use synthetic oil rather than oil supplied. Hope it makes engine last longer.

Perfect for essential items

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Like the unit so far, seems rugged and well built. Only have 6 hrs on it but flawless so far

Started on the first pull and runs very quietly
The Westinghouse IGEN 2500c generator worked perfectly right out of the box. I read the quick start guide; added the included oil tot he engine; added gas and it started on the first pull. Its a quiet machine and we will use to power our micro camper. So far I am very satisfied with my purchase.
