Great Presentation, won't be my last CJRB purchase.
This is a beautiful knife, the black blade with blue scales is an awesome look. I love the crossbar lock it makes it easier to open and close with arthritis, it is a little stiff out of the box, a little oil will take care of that. It is light weight and easy to carry. The blade is centered. The grip is very comfortable and the clip is deep pocket. The pouch has velvet interior, so fancy. Great presentation with the pouch and cloth for 29.00. I googled the blade steel it is equal to 440B. This is my first CJRB but won't be my last.

Unbelievable value, excellent quality, super sharp.
I simply cannot believe the manufacturer makes any money selling these knives at these prices. The quality and workmanship is on par with similar products costing several times as much. I haven't used the knife long enough to say how it holds an edge, but I can tell you it came from the factory easily sharp enough to shave with. The finish is interesting; they call it "stone wash," which seems appropriate. Think of a matte finish on a photograph. It should be very effective at hiding scrapes and scratches. The handle is made from a durable material that will almost certainly last longer than me. If you're at all mechanically inclined, the open/close action will bring a smile to your face. Pull down on the cross-bar lock with a little flick of your wrist and suddenly a knife appears! It's almost magical. If this knife fails to hold up the way I think it will I will update this review, but for now color me impressed.

Nice budget EDC!
Budget EDC knife that is very sharp out the box. Once you adjust the omega springs to the second available position, the knife became very fidget friendly. A little too much lock tight on a couple screws from the factory though. I have not seen the issue of the edge hitting the stabilizers when closing as others have seen. I sharpened to an 18° edge on my Hapstone RS to 800 grit with Hapstone Premium Diamond set and then stropped with 1 micron Hapstone Diamond emulsion. Cut paper towels with ease. Very happy with both of the CJRB knives I have!

The longer I have, the better it becomes. Sign of true quality.
Was not a fan of this knife at first. Couldn't deploy blade or close quickly. Lock felt way too stiff. But something about the design (and other glowing well-respected reviews) urged me to keep trying. And then I got it. Open and close on those bearing with the quickness. And since then, my estimation of this knife has grown immensely. In the absence of that operator error this is a five star purchase for sure. A regular EDC for me nowadays. Glad that I waited a bit to write this review. Hope this helps others to appreciate their own more as well.

Great EDC, good balance of features and cost. I guess this is the way.
I always have my Milwaukee Fastback on me at, and switch between two different Milwaukee folders at work. I've been carrying the 7.75 folder as an edc as well, and was looking to upgrade it recently. Jumped down the youtube rabbit hole and came out with this. The combo of style, locking mechanism, and looks appealed to me.To me the Acacia has a real sleek look to it. The FRN scales are comfortable and well finished.I like the textured pattern on the scales. It reminds me of a Japanese design made out of Mando T Visors. I have the brown version/black blade version. It's light weight, sharp, has good build quality for the price. I've broken down a bunch of boxes downand was impressed with the sharpness and ease of use. The default crossbar lock setting does seem stiff to me, but I'm fine with it since it is adjustable. You can deploy it with the crossbar lock, thumb flick, or reverse flick.I'm still fairly new to all these different ways to open a knife, so I think I would prefer thumbstuds, but then it would throw off the looks. So far the black blade coating has held up well, and I enjoy the crossbar lock. Ive given it a few pretty good whacks against a table with the tip of the spine, and its stayed locked. I also appreciated how easy it was to adjust the pivot, since one side is captive.Def worth the sale price. If it ever drops lower or of I lost it I'd replace it. I look forward to checking out more CJRB blades as I slide further into this hobby/addiction

Far from CJRB's best
Knife flipping action is tight and locking mechanism wasn't up to par to most of CJRB's lineup. The hole punch in this knife is barely useable and needs a very exaggerated flip to get the knife to deploy without the use of 2 hands.
